Way too long

I am usually the only one that looks for books that are at least 24 hours long this one however it was far too long even at 14 hours or whatever the length was too many characters too much looking back too much of everything. It was boring plus a very implausibleplot

Poor writing childish

This book should only be listened to by 17-year-olds what a load of trash not only is supremos something that only the lonely hearts 40-year-old would think of, but the writing is extremely poor as well. I cannot understand all the five star reviews unless these are lonely spinsters, who wants to see the Rolling Stones and then assizes about them this author said her husband told her it would be a good premise for a book. I think she should not listen to her husband about this sort of thing ever again I have to admit I listen to the first hour, and then scroll to the end

I bought this on on the reviews .. not for me..seems like the author took every mystery and story line from many places then attempted to tie them all together. sports, mafia, murder etc. not cohesive. going back. narration was fine

Simón Vance could read a laundry list and it would be enjoyable but this book was very very well done I love the recipes I love the narration and the story was fabulous if you like anything to do with Roman history read it or listen to it and enjoy Simón’s wonderful wonderful voice

CO OP not coop

geez what a bunch of repetitive writing there is no such thing as the Harvard COOP it is the CO OP unless they are keeping chickens on campus now but even I can forgive this transgression but not the soapy soppy repetitive musing of a 13 year old.. un;ess you are 13 maybe.. nope.. written for a quick beach read .. could have been hours shorter with a plot that was so simple a 13 year old could figure it out oh wait.. narrator was good..

I want my money back

Oh please.. how any times can your brain seep out of your head ? How many times can you be abused by our brother and not know it is sexual? How many times can you go to "collage"" and not know people take aspirin ? How many times can you go out with someone and .. gee we are going to hold hands" can your really go to BYU when you have never had any education? Can you really not know what an essay is? Did you ever get your period and never mention it in a book about "growing up " as a female? I want my 4K back of taxpayer funds that supported this person so she could have a root canal.. I would rather have root canal than listen to another minute..ouch returned

If you like"The Kinkster" ( Kinky Freidman) you will like this. I do and I did. A mini mafia tale with some characters that are both funny and crazy not too mention killers. Love the kitchen scenes and I must have one of those knives......

Great racing story

Loved almost every minute super narrator made you feel the enthusiasm of Baffert and his crew and the sensitivity to the horse one small peeve. The past tense of beat is not beat you do not get “beat” you get beaten just as in you do not get bit you get bitten better yet you are beaten or bitten but small errors ...love this book
