Outstanding SciFi value!

If you are like me, always searching for 'per credit' value, this is a great selection. Of course, if you aren't a SciFi fan this might not be for you. But if you like SciFi, this should check all your "value" boxes. The story is solid (check), the characters are robust (check), the science is good (check), and the narration is outstanding (big check). Enjoy!

Really good book, then "Skippy" happened!

I was listening to this book and thinking, "this is good enough to probably buy the next one". RC Bray certainly helps with that decision, he is so good. Then I met Skippy. Skippy is my absolute favorite Audible character. Ever. I may be in the minority on that, but even if you don't love Skippy and Bray as much as me, you will really enjoy the book, the story, the characters, the especially the narrator. If you don't, well, you might be a dumb monkey.

The "Daemon" in you will love this book!

If you have any love for technology, any passion for gaming, and any disdain for multinational corporations, this is a mandatory listen! I got this book based on the good reviews. It was a little outside my preferred storyline but looked like a good read. I couldn't be happier that I did. Daemon (and the follow-up, Freedom) is just outstanding. The story is probably my favorite in my Audible history. The performance is outstanding and the characters are robust. This story touches on multiple subjects that are near to my heart. The worst part is that there isn't a third book.

This omnibus is a good value, but the story is a bit immature and predictable. The narrator does a great job. The story and characters just didn't do anything for me. I didn't hate it, but I would have if I bought the books separately.

A must read if you enjoy post-apocalyptic anything

This was my first Edward Robertson read / listen and I was very impressed. He is clearly a quality author and does a great job with his characters. The story is outstanding, with some unexpected plot twists. Ray Chase is always outstanding, but it's almost like these were written for him. He is so good, it is hard to describe. If you have any passion for the post-apocalyptic genre or just like a great story with quality characters and an outstanding reader, this is a MUST HAVE!

This book isn't my typical genre, I took a chance because it is long and it had great reviews. I am SO HAPPY I did! This is a really good story and a truly incredible performance by Ray Porter. He has a great range of different voices and the way he slips in the Spanish phrases is amazing.
If you are looking for A) Good Story B) Long Story (Value) and C) Great Performance - get this book!
