the mystery aspect was great. the tone and the mood was awesome. Madeline is a compelling character as are the others. the love affair with an ape was not my cup of tea.

I loved this, just wish it were a whole novel! the end felt rushed, almost like finishing a tv episode.

good, but gives too much away
Revisado: 06-03-19
I don't read a lot of this kind or Sci Fi but I wanted to give it a go. I liked the story overall, but I felt there was so much time dedicated to each other their thoughts to the point where you knew too much of what was happening. I'm glad I read this before I ever saw the movie, though!
