The perfect neurodivergent queer basketball romance!

I loved EVERYTHING! I feel so seen and validated and just so moved by both Julie and Elle. The performances were incredible and so full of life, and the writing! I don't have words for how fully realized these characters felt, literally the entire time. If you're neurodivergent and queer and love women's basketball, this will be your new favourite book!!!

Milena McKay has done it again! Vi and Chiara have my whole heart. I did NOT see the mid-book time and perspective jump coming, and it totally changed the entire story in the most beautiful way. So many emotions!!! Can't recommend highly enough, plus I was so excited to have some cross over with These Delicate Things We Make.

Best coming out romance ever

I didn't expect to like this one as much as Perfect Rhythm, largely because I didn't think I could root for Ashley after her behavior towards Holly and Leo. But of course, Jae proved me wrong. Ash and Sasha are fantastic, individually and as a couple. I loved this even more than the first book!
And don't let the haters win. The narration is great. I love that Sasha, a strong, burly 6ft woman, has a delicate voice. Adds nuance to the character. Some women have higher voices, don't be a jerk!

I love a low angst love fest

I'm already a big fan of Rachel's books, but this is one of my very favourites. I love that Piper and Chloe hit it off and just click. I love that they never hide from their feelings and are both so dedicated to building a life together despite the obstacles. It's a quick little read, with only a little angst right at the end.
