Synesthesia at Its Most Structured
Revisado: 01-23-23
Each essay from Sontag builds on the last through harmonies, counterpoints, and ellipses into a melody of exposition. The goal?
Unify the logos, ethos, and pathos of art as a reflection of the human experience, so as to advocate for a modern theory of aesthetic appreciation. The conclusions Sontag draws inform everything from how artists should approach outlines of works not-yet-started to the value governments and corporations place on ouevres.
The voice talent / reading itself leaves a little to be desired but it's still overall good.

Historia
Continuing where Thus Spoke Zarathustra left off, Nietzsche's controversial work Beyond Good and Evil is one of the most influential philosophical texts of the 19th century and one of the most controversial works of ideology ever written. Attacking the notion of morality as nothing more than institutionalised weakness, Nietzsche criticises past philosophers for their unquestioning acceptance of moral precepts. Nietzsche tried to formulate what he called "the philosophy of the future".

If only the speech could dance as well as the word

Solid translation. Average delivery. Nietzsche might not like the fact that this title is both free and widely downloaded but...

Slavoj Žižek's first book is a provocative and original work looking at the question of human agency in a postmodern world. In a thrilling tour de force that made his name, he explores the ideological fantasies of wholeness and exclusion which make up human society.

Zizek but not by Zizek
Revisado: 01-28-22
The delivery and reason have little of the energy, passion, and intonation of Zizek.
