Really enjoyed this book as things come together. Looking forward to finishing the series. Started in my youth and is now a great casual listen between my commute or chores.

As someone who already practices algorithmic trading, I do not recommend purchasing this book. My deciding factor in purchasing was the title and because audible said if I didn’t use my credits they would be lost. With that said this book is extremely basic. It will offer you nothing you couldn’t have picked up quickly from investopedia or some discord group during their trial period. The quick explanation is if you aren’t a successful trader with a strategy and good risk management you won’t become an algo trader. If you are successful in the markets you next need to be proficient in math and programming so you can define the strategy into code. Slap on a few buzz words like machine learning and that’s the gist of the book. I have 20 min remaining but again nothing substantial from a more experienced perspective was said during the few hours of listening. If none of that sounds like you (successful, versed in risk management, can understand statistical math and able to program it all together) then don’t waste your time at this stage. If you don’t think you can become those things just pay a money manager and or an algorithmic trading service but make sure you agree with their pay structure. 99% of copy trading is just a scam so really find those you’re secure with and trust and even then only offer enough to get by.
