Narrator voice is hard to listen to
Revisado: 09-18-23
The narrator’s voice is almost a whisper and doesn’t show much character. Hard listen to listen to for long.

Horrible Female Narration
Revisado: 11-05-22
I just couldn’t get over the horrendous “English” accent from the female narrator. It was so painful to listen to. Too distracting to even finish the book :(

The past life memories of two women capture a true and compelling portrait of Jesus the man, from the healing miracles he performed to the gentle philosophy he preached. This is an insider view, direct from Jesus' time, deep in feeling tones and profound in implications, giving a sense of how things truly were.

Struggling With Narrator
Revisado: 10-05-21
I’m trying so hard to not be annoyed with the narrator. Her “excited” voice is so cringy.

Historia
To millions of readers and listeners around the world, Dr. Wayne Dyer was the beloved “Father of Motivation” - but to Serena, Saje, and their six siblings, he was simply “Dad”. When he died suddenly in 2015, the sisters were blindsided by grief and felt unprepared to navigate life’s challenges and conflicts without his guidance. In The Knowing, Saje and Serena share how they recommitted to the teachings of their father and, in doing so, created their own evolution of his principles that they teach today.

Constant Out of Breath
Revisado: 07-29-21
It was hard to focus on the content when the breathing is so distracting. One of the authors was great and the other sounded like she needed an inhaler.

Historia
Uncle Tom's Cabin was the best-selling novel of the 19th century and the second best-selling book of that century, following the Bible. It is credited with helping fuel the abolitionist cause in the 1850s. In 1855, three years after it was published, it was called "the most popular novel of our day." A thrilling and important piece of American literature!

Annoying Voice Volume Changes
Revisado: 05-19-21
If you want to listen to this at a consistent level it will be impossible. The narrators voice will go extremely loud to whispering quiet in a matter of five seconds over and over again. I’m all about changing tones of voice is but the volume changes are extremely annoying.
