Historia
Vegas Heat is the powerful story of the Thornton dynasty...of Fanny's twin sons, Sage and Birch: alienated from each other, one is content in his conventional life while the other's search for happiness leads to tragedy - and renewed hope. It is also the story of Fanny's two daughters....

Honestly

I read this one right before my first trip to Vegas, The title is true, it sure was hot in Vegas 115 degrees hot. The title did not match the story however: a relaxing pleasant read sitting by the pool alone but not sexy and steamy enough to be titled Vegas Heat There wasn’t even enough steam to dry my hair after my swim. Maybe change the title to Vegas Breeze. Ahh but then if you did that one could truly judge the book by the cover. Young readers can appreciate and gleen useful information about family dysfunctions

Historia
Only a handful of fictional characters are recognized by first name alone. Dean Koontz’s Odd Thomas is one such literary hero, who has come alive in listeners’ imaginations as he explores the greatest mysteries of this world and the next with his inimitable wit, heart, and quiet gallantry. Now Koontz follows Odd as he is drawn onward, to a destiny he cannot imagine. Haunted by dreams of an all-encompassing red tide, Odd is pulled inexorably to the sea, to a small California coastal town where nothing is as it seems.

Dean Koontz is an amazing writer; He has a beautiful dark way of telling a listener/reader about the nature of the battle between good and evil. You will fall completely in love with Odd Thomas. I pray the series never ends they keep me intrigued and longing for more once the tale has expired.

Historia
Set in Junction City, Iowa, The Library Policeman is the story of Sam Peebles, a middle-aged businessman who happens to have some overdue books. It seems a minor offense - but not to Junction City's malevolent monster of a librarian. What follows is spine-tingling suspense as only Stephen King can deliver it.

I absolutely love this book, read it for the first time 15 years ago, was scared then and scared again. This story makes you angry, sad, horrified, feel helpless and despaired right along with the main character. and then glides you back down to earth with a feather in your hand to place on the justice scale. The reader also has a great voice and the sound track is awesome, stayed up all night listening, well worth being tired the next day.
