Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

Thought provoking and terrifying, but in a more subtle way than sewer clowns and pet semataries. I couldn't stop listening. The narrator was amazing.

Fabulous book! Original story line. Perfect narrator. I listen to 4 to 5 books a month. Sometimes it's difficult to find something "different". This book fit the bill perfectly. You know it's a good one when you look forward to being stuck in Austin, TX traffic.

I can't get this book out of my head.
Revisado: 10-12-18
This is definitely one of my top 3 listens. Since finishing it I've purchased and returned 2 Audible books -- which I rarely do -- because this book is a hard act to follow. The characters are deep and multifaceted, the story is loving and terrifying at the same time, and the narrator takes it all to the next level. Go for it. You will not be disappointed!
