Historia
When Tameka gets kicked out of her apartment in Atlanta, Georgia, she convinces her best friend, Belinda, to allow her to move in with them until Tameka gets back on her feet. While living free of charge with the family for several months, Tameka maliciously puts voodoo on Belinda's seven-year old daughter, La'Quishia, and runs off with her best friend's husband, Carl. Tameka is also suspected of secretly igniting a house fire that kills La'Quishia's best friends, Kisha and Kimani, and their elderly grandmother.

Hmmm From Gloom to Glory! Wow!
Revisado: 05-29-20
Well, I loved the story. The Narrator at first had me wondering, why so gloom then I realized that this child went through hell and when telling a story in the first person narrative like this, it wont be chipper or happy. The story had meaningful lessons and the Narrator pulled it off in the end. The bad spirits were no joke but God always win and Karma, oh well! Overall, I enjoyed it.

Historia
Jenifer Lewis keeps it real in this provocative and touching memoir by a Midwestern girl with a dream whose journey from poverty to Hollywood will move, shock, and inspire listeners. Told in the audacious voice her fans adore, Jenifer describes a road to fame made treacherous by dysfunction and undiagnosed mental illness, including a sex addiction. Yet, supported by loving friends and strengthened by "inner soldiers", Jenifer never stopped entertaining and creating.

The Truth Uncovered Is Always Clear and Real
Revisado: 06-22-18
Not only was this an enlightening "real talk session", but it was very enjoyable to get confirmation that yes, actors and singers are people too and they work hard for what they've accomplished. It's easy to say, "oh, I wish I was like them or I wish I have what they have", but always, we don't know their journey. Ms. Lewis, it was a pleasure to walk with you on your journey and I praise you for your struggles, defeats and triumphs and most of all for sharing them with us. It was, no, it is an enjoyable journey and I can't wait to see the awesomeness of your continued endeavors. Be proud, be strong and always, continue to be real!
Continued Blessings to you Jenifer Lewis!!!!!!!
