This narrator is awful

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I am not done listening yet but am writing to warn others. The writing is good and it's an interesting story, but the narrator is horrible. She has an odd inflection at the end of every sentence. Sort of a modified valley girl accent for virtually every character.
