I found the book to be boring. Not worth a credit. I upped the speed so I could just hurry and finish the book. I was disappointed with the ending. I’m glad I got to listen for free with my kindle unlimited subscription.

Historia
After receiving a lead from an unlikely source, Juliana, the mortician tasked with the bodies of victims of the "Carolina Creeper", the South’s most notorious serial killer in decades, sets off to New Orleans in search of Theresa Morris, an heiress and presumably the Creeper’s only surviving victim. Theresa now goes by “Tess” and is a shadow of her former heiress self. She’s also being pursued by famous novelist Michael, who sets his sights on Tess as the muse of his work-in-progress, oblivious to her former identity.

Not what I was expecting
Revisado: 09-03-20
The book was a fun listen and entertaining. I thought I had the story pegged and kept thinking it was predictable but I was wrong. The ending fell flat for me. However, I liked being in Medeia’s head. She’s funny and ruthless.

Just when it starting getting good
Revisado: 09-19-19
The book was a bit slow. Too much fluff at times and for some reason Nathan gets on my nerves with his trying to be funny wit. He’s a major eye roll for me. Could do without him. Warren is my guy. As far as the story, it was interesting but I felt it wasn’t as engrossing as some of the others. Then it really started to pick up within the last hour and it ends😡. I feel the next one book will be exciting. Looking forward to it.

Drawn out
Revisado: 09-15-19
I was disappointed about this last book. I felt it was drawn out and my mind kept wandering. I also didn’t care for the ending. The whole book wasn’t bad but it could’ve been a lot better, especially the ending.

Can’t believe it’s over
Revisado: 09-10-19
That was an amazing ending to a great series. I loved the way the author ended the book. Being on the journey with Mia and having it end was bitter sweet. The narrator was awesome as well. Not surprising. Holter Graham always does an excellent job.

Historia
My husband is cruel, ruthless, and despicable. I hate him with every fiber of my being. The only reason I haven't killed him or tried to run away is because of the promise I made. I sold myself to save someone I loved...and this is the price I have to pay. I was sitting alone in a bar when the most handsome man walked inside. Striking blue eyes, cheekbones as sharp as glass, and a muscular body fit for a war. He was gorgeous. I couldn't take my eyes off him. When he bought me a drink, I didn't say no. I'd been unfulfilled for so long, and I wanted a real man for the night.

Good start but more story
Revisado: 08-28-19
Too much sex (know. I’m actually saying that😐). I wish there was more story and action. But I’m looking forward to book 2. Hopefully it will have more happenings going on.
The narration was good. Michael Ferraiuolo kind of reminded me of Iggy Toma who is one of my favorite narrators (Scarlet Scars series by JM Darhower☺️).

Historia
I'm not all that special, really. I'm sure there are a lot of girls with old gypsy blood who see the dead, have killer cults hunting their family, and turn into something that gets scary when they panic. Yep. I'm just an ordinary girl. I wish people would believe that. I've been labeled as one thing or another for most of my life: Death Girl. Crazy Gypsy Girl. Gothic Chick. Monster. It took my mother's death for me to finally start getting answers about what's really been going on. Unfortunately, most of the answers come from men...who aren't just men.

It would’ve been Great if...
Revisado: 08-26-19
This book was REALLY good but the male narrator, Shaun Grindell, killed it for me. His narration was awful!!! It would’ve been 10x’s better if Melissa Moran read the whole book. His narration was choppy and boring. He gave no emotion or distinctive voices to each character.
Now I’m debating of purchasing the next book in the series since it looks like he’s still narrating😐.

When I moved to River’s Edge, dating was the last thing on my mind. I definitely didn’t expect to fall for him. Jesse Shepherd. Popular. Star athlete. Cocky as hell. You know the type. But as time passed, I realized there was more lurking beneath that gorgeous exterior. Secretive. Angry. A little bit broken. The more I peeled back his layers, the deeper I fell. Until I slammed headfirst into his sea of lies.

Another Great book!!!!
Revisado: 08-24-19
This is another great book to add to the Bad Love series. Both Allie and Jesse were easy to fall in love with and I can’t wait til the next book comes out. I wonder who our next couple is🤔.
My only nit picky complaint was the narrator Rachel Butera. While her voice for Allie was really good, her voice was really off for the other females she had to read for. They all sounded like dudes with the exception of Allie’s mom. I loved Aaron Shedlock’s voice.

I asked for his criteria for bed buddies - that's the PG version. He swore at me and said he didn’t do groupies. And just like that, our friendship was off to a great start. Reese Forster was the starting point guard for the Seattle Thunder. Gorgeous. Cocky. Loved by the nation. He’s also attending preseason basketball training camp where I used to work.

2.5 why such high reviews?
Revisado: 08-19-19
I was really looking forward to this book. I REALLY, REALLY was hoping to LOVE it. But sadly, I couldn’t force it. I thought this book was boring with tons of fillers. I did like the camp part but it felt off. At first I thought Charlie had some type of Tourette’s (which would’ve made the book a lot better) but then for her random q’s to be a defense mechanism fell flat. I know what she’s been through was tragic but I thought the story didn’t live up to it’s full potential. I like K Webster’s writing for things like this. However, I did really enjoy Tijan’s book Ryan’s Bed. I think this one just missed its mark.
The narration was good but I would’ve liked to hear more of Dan Bittner.
