Terrible Narrator

There was no speed at which I could play this where it sounded normal. At normal speed, the narrator sounds rushed and monotone. Plus I much prefer one narrator to a full cast. It's just distracting. The story was pretty cliché. Although to be fair, I may have liked it better if it hadn't been so hard to listen to.

Very Very Informative

Filled with very detailed information about maintaining and monitoring your engine. Lots of practical advice for a novice like me, and plenty of detail that would benefit a mechanic. Excellent for an aircraft owner, and required reading if you work on them.

Pretty good

The story is pretty good, but a little predictable. The book is written in the first person which seemed odd at first. I may listen to more of her work, but not going to be a high priority.

An excellent explanation of the things that really matter when piloting an airplane

The author did a wonderful job of explaining the purpose of all of the control surfaces and how the airplane responds to them in different speeds and attitudes. He talked extensively about proper use of the rudder, particularly. I think this is a must listen for any general aviation pilot. He also covers other topics such as judging your approaches, flying at high altitude, and engine efficiency under different conditions. Listening to this book will undoubtably make you a better equipped and safer pilot.

Well thought out, easy to follow

He did an excellent job laying out the traditional Christian perspective on the roles of family, church and government. Lots of biblical support. Excellent.

Almost Unbelievable

As an American reader, I found this book both fascinating and horrifying. Horrifying, not because of the brutal crimes, but the absolutely stunning incompetence and vindictiveness of the Italian judicial system. It's quite literally almost impossible to believe that this story could occur in a civilized country. Definitely has me rethinking some of my vacation plans.

This book is probably not an easy listen for the average Christian, but if you're not afraid of big theological words, it is an excellent resource. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Brevity

A classic. The book is written in such a way as to be a humorous take on a not so humorous subject, but it is also sadly true.

Not his best

I thought the idea for the story was great, and for the first hour, I thought I was gonna like it. Then I hit what seemed like an hour straight of a little girl telling a story in such a way that was just tedious. Then came the thinly disguised lectures on immigration policy, and the poor hispanic protagonist getting picked on by racist cops, then the very corny action scenes. And, to top it all off, the close of the story didn't make any sense. Supposedly there are beings trying to come back into this world because they can't inhabit physical bodies in the one where they are stuck, and they miss having physical form, but throughout the book, the girl is vomiting up insects that already have physical form from the other side. This one was just a dud all the way around. Facepalm.
