Great Book for SNL Lovers!

If you love SNL like I do, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this book! If not, well then move along. I like autobiographies from entertaining comedians & actors. My favorite part of this book is Colin’s delivery: a dry, acerbic wit that gives the reader an experience similar to that of well-timed stand-up routine. On a somber note, Colin’s tender chapter about his mom during 9/11 is a real tear-jerker. The rest of the book mostly focuses on his rise in entertainment from a struggling comedian to head writer at SNL. All in all, it’s a great book with lots of laughs and tons of giggle-snort one-liners!

Hilarious, entertaining, & compelling

This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite audio books. I love it so much that I’ve listened to it several times. Trevor Noah delivers impactful insight into his South African upbringing. From his loving, yet unabashedly stern mom to his adolescent mistakes, it’s obvious that Trevor has gained a great appreciation for both his talent and his good fortune. He is seemingly perfect with his reading of his memoir, giving the listener a real treat in the way he delivers each line with his trademark on-point comedic timing. You won’t go wrong buying this book!
