What Is the Story?
Revisado: 12-06-19
No chapters —- just a long stream of consciousness that made no sense at all. Is this a love story or just a story where people die?

When setting a Story in America, please use American slang
Revisado: 10-19-19
I liked the overall story. However, what made most of it so unbelievable is the use of so much British slang in an American setting by Americans. The details like the author not comprehending how the American justice and medical systems work make it even more difficult. The premise is good, but she would have done better yo set her story in England among the British upper class.

Awful and NOT a ROMANCE!!!!
Revisado: 09-11-19
This should not be in the Escape section anymore than it should have been published even as Christian fiction. It’s nothing more than white supremacy propaganda that the only hope Jewish children had for surviving concentration camps was to be converted to Christianity and that only those who accepted Christ as a Savior were deserving of being saved from the horrors of the Holocaust. That’s such a disgusting thing to put out there. Between the narrator’s awful accents and the author’s obvious anti-Semitic views, I’m disgusted this book even exists. The publisher should be ashamed for contributing to this country’s already growing white supremacy problem.

Historia
Manhattan art dealer Sera James watched her world crumble at the altar two years ago, and her heart is still fragile. Her desire for distraction reignites a passion for a mysterious portrait she first saw as a young girl-a painting of a young violinist with piercing blue eyes. In her search for the painting, Sera crosses paths with William Hanover - the grandson of a wealthy California real estate mogul - who may be the key to uncovering the hidden masterpiece.

Please Stop Promoting Myth of a “Christian Holocaust”
Revisado: 09-10-19
This story is under the “Escape” package, which is misleading. It’s Christian fiction. While the premise is good, the delivery is awful. The modern day story would be good if it wasn’t for the author shoving Christianity down our throats. What’s worse is the glossing over the suffering over the majority of victims of concentration camps by making it about being a Christian message instead. That’s just wrong and totally anti-Semitic. The narrator makes it worse by her use of “mimicking” what I assume are accents.
