needs a different narrator. the language is too choppy. the story is excellent.

I loved the story, hated the narrator. a better editor might smooth the story out.

Historia
Lisbeth Salander—the heart of Larsson’s two previous novels—lies in critical condition, a bullet wound to her head, in the intensive care unit of a Swedish city hospital. She’s fighting for her life in more ways than one: if and when she recovers, she’ll be taken back to Stockholm to stand trial for three murders. With the help of her friend, journalist Mikael Blomkvist, she will not only have to prove her innocence, but also identify and denounce those in authority.

Revisado: 08-07-13
Stieg Larsson is a very good author, his stories are gripping and strong. I recommend this book to anyone who likes thrillers. The book kept a good pace and the interlacing of characters and plots is excellent. I have read, listened and watched everyone of his books, just waiting for the next.

Dewey Andreas rocks
Revisado: 08-07-13
1. Ben Coes, he is a good writer of the caliber of Vince Flynn and Michael Connelly, I have enjoyed his characters and the twist the plot took.
2. This book is a must read for anyone who enjoys Mystery/thriller. It is well written and as far as I am concerned it deserves a space on my bookcase. The book is solid, there is nothing trite about it, which I will not read. Dewey is a good character and while he isn't a womanizing man his character is very manly.
3. The narrator does a good job with the character reenactment and he has a strong voice which brings Dewey and the others alive.
I really liked reading this book.

Historia
The four dead guards didn’t concern Mitch Rapp as much as the absence of the man they’d been paid to protect. Joe Rickman wasn’t just another foot soldier. For the last eight years Rickman had ran the CIA’s clandestine operations in Afghanistan. It was a murky job that involved working with virtually every disreputable figure in the Islamic Republic. More than a quarter billion dollars in cash had passed through Rickman’s hands during his tenure as the master of black ops and no one with a shred of sense wanted to know the details of how that money had been spent.

The Last Man, the last novel
Revisado: 07-09-13
I just finished the Last Man, I was saving it for a special occasion, it is a wonderful book and Vince Flynn was a great writer. I am sorry I won't be finding out more about Mitch Rapp and his friends. Vince Flynn was a good writer from the beginning, I have read them all and not one of them raise the BS flag for me. His stories are plausible and great to read. Sorry you have left us so soon Vince Flynn, I have been scrambling to find someone to replace you but I cannot find anyone who is as good a writer and knew his subject as well.
Mitch Rapp is a mean S.O.B with a good heart. I think I met him once. He is loyal, brave and sometimes down right crazy, but who could do this job better?

Historia
A major North American hydroelectric dam is blown up and the largest off-shore oil field in this hemisphere is destroyed in a brutal, coordinated terrorist attack. But there was one factor that the terrorists didn't take into account when they struck the Capitana platform off the coast of Colombia—slaughtering much of the crew and blowing up the platform—and that was the Capitana crew chief Dewey Andreas. Dewey, former Army Ranger and Delta, survives the attack, rescuing as many of his men as possible. But the battle has just begun.

Wonderfully well written book
Revisado: 07-08-12
If you could sum up The Redbreast in three words, what would they be?
Twisting, excellent plotting
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Redbreast?
The whole book is memorable because it is so different than the regular rubbish sold in airports across the nation. Jo Nesbo gives you a thought provoking plot with twists and turns that are completely unanticipated. You can't miss one page or you will loose the story. Excellent writing and a very complex storyline. I loved it and wished more authors, including myself were able to tie things together so well.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
Americans will be shocked at how well this novel is written.
