Historia
Seventeen-year-old Megan Allen has been jumping from friend group to friend group in her high school, trying on identities like outfits. Nothing ever seems to fit—until she meets LC, the adventurous, charismatic girl who appears at her favorite coffee shop one day like magic. Finally, Megan feels like she’s becoming the person she’s meant to be: someone like LC. On the night of their friendiversary, what was supposed to be a bonding experience ends in a waking nightmare. Suddenly, Megan is no longer herself. Too late, she realizes that LC has secrets—dangerous ones.

Now this is how you try to get your body back!
Revisado: 02-08-24
"We bonded so hard, so fast, I swear best-friends-at-first-sight is a thing."
Picture this: Megan and LC, fast friends who decide to celebrate their three-month "friendsversary" with matching piercings. But things take a wild turn when they wake up after a night of partying... in each other's bodies! Cue the gaslighting from LC, who's acting like nothing's wrong. Talk about a plot twist!
For me, the plot is refreshingly unique and futuristic, full of exciting twists, yet remained remarkably clear and coherent, keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end. (I read this in 1 day.)
I loved reading about black girls defying stereotypes and embracing their own unique identities. This story highlighted the importance of appreciating our own lives and celebrating the diverse qualities that make us who we are, proudly.
This book is a rollercoaster of mystery, adventure, and self-discovery, with characters you can't help but root for. Trust me, you won't be able to put it down.
Five stars all the way!

Historia
In the little city of Flint, Michigan, the good die young, and the people left standing are the grimiest of characters. With reign over the city's drug trade, Benjamin Atkins made sure that his precious daughter, Raven, was secluded from the grit that the city had to offer. But when Raven's young heart gets claimed by Mizan, a stick-up kid in search of a come-up, there's nothing Benjamin can do about losing her to the streets.

great potential
Revisado: 02-16-18
First let me say that Nicole Small did an amazing job narrorating. This story had strong potential! It did keep my attention but I found myself rolling my eyes several times during the story. Way too unrealistic. The charecters lacked development and common sense. I hated how sad the story was, no happy moments. I love her decriptive delivery of the story. She's an extremely talented writer. I dont think its a lack of skill just think more time and editing needs to be put into the work. I seen an interview where they kinda bragged about pumping books out in three week's time. needs more time!

Great listen from start to finish
Revisado: 02-01-18
Great listen from start to finish. Story kept me intrigued and on edge. Character development was on point. Narrator did an awesome job, he is very talented. I just hate the way he sounded doing the characters screams lol. It made me laugh at some of the serious scenes. I wish I would have listened to this book a long time ago.
