Historia
Even with his immense new power, James comes to realize that he is still playing into the hands of the System. If they are to free Earth and redeem the billions of dead, James and his crew will have to do more than journey into the pits of hell or slaughter countless armies of demons—they'll have to find the god-like forces orchestrating the apocalypse, break every rule, and utterly defeat them.

What a book #3
Revisado: 11-21-23
Started out pretty standard….then blew me away. Tucker has opened up a lot of interesting possibilities. Cannot miss the third book….

I’d say I thought this book has been the most…..aggravating ….maybe annoying-in a good way- one yet. Could t really see where this was going….but happy how it ended. Still a little pissed there’s no space realm stuff yet

Historia
Life in King’s League has hit a new low. Dirk has lost Graydon’s Sight to another player. For the first time since finding it, he is forced to navigate the game while tracking down the rest of the set. It’s the worst time to discover that Graydon isn’t the only god with armor to bestow, either. It becomes a race against the clock to collect the remaining missing pieces and devise a plan to get the helm back, all while keeping an eye out for old enemies.

+5 story
Revisado: 09-15-23
Sky raiders is by far the coolest realm….reminds me of cid and sky ships from FF7. Someone please make this game…
And the rest is developing nicely, characters, plot….interests. The story keeps going and gaining traction. And there’s even some teases at the sci-fi realm “Interstellar”…..which if I don’t get some Martian Hoplite stuff here soon…I’ll riot.
Worth the credit for sure….best one yet

Historia
Party at Dawnshire. Graydon’s Armor is bestowing its power on players throughout King’s League, and not all of them think like Dirk. When a vicious player-killer begins to wreak havoc in his own corner of King’s League, Dirk decides that the only way he can put a stop to it is by gathering up his friends and creating a balanced party capable of standing up against some of the game’s toughest challenges.

Overall a necessary bridge to book 4 - with loot drops!
Revisado: 09-15-23
2nd book was the hook, this one turns it into a rope-a-dope loot drop. Legendary items will be revealed and the bottom of the rabbit hole still can’t be seen. These guys write novels for stamina….building a diverse virtual world as well developing some interesting situations IRL. MC is developing and friendships are growing. The hits keep coming.
I keep getting a feeling that Kings League would be an amazing game…

Dirk's epic run of success in King's League has drawn new gamers to Dawnshire, but not all of them are there to play nice. Rumors about mysterious Graydon's Armor pieces are quietly spreading across the Realms. It isn't long before someone attempts to take away everything Dirk possess as powerful forces conspire against King's League's newest player sensation.

2nd Book is the hook
Revisado: 09-15-23
I’d say the 2nd book in this series adds +2 to the story line and +1 to the overall enjoyment. Personally, I enjoyed the new world order f “86 Neon” a little more than the vanilla realm. It’s basically like destiny 2 made love with fallout.
The narration of this book digs a little deeper into Dirks IRL world and also introduces some new friends, and foes, to the kings league universe.
Bottom line: it’s more in depth, more action and builds the story a good bit. Definitely worth a credit. These guys also tease at the various realms out there alluding to how deep the rabbit hole will go. I look forward to reading the next books.

Historia
For recently expelled college dropout Dirk Wilson, picking up and re-selling other player's scraps from cleared dungeons and side quests gone sideways is the only thing keeping him from living on the streets. Tired of ramen noodles, past-due notices, and feeling like his future is over before it ever started, Dirk decides that if he's going to make something of himself, it'll be within the game, taking advantage of the real-life payouts from selling in-game goods on King's League's River Market. But the game leaves little margin for error, and Dirk's virtual problems grow.

BLUF: Worth it
Revisado: 09-10-23
If you’re like me….an audible addict constantly trying to find the next story to dig in to as your finishing the one you’re on….and a fan of Anspach and Chaney, I don’t think you’ll be let down sinking your teeth into this new story line and world.
Be advised though, this is nothing like Galaxy’s Edge or the usual military sci-fi/space opera-ish stories and worlds these two sexy wordsmiths normally weave. It’s straight up real-life narration of a WoW player…..except he calls it something else and also it’s way more of an immersive game than WoW ever was. It’s interesting. Plus, these two get into the weeds of the actual game-play and items and different play styles. True to all MMORPGs fans out there.
The only negative I had to this story is that I kept comparing it to “ready player one”. Honestly I’d rather they had made this into a movie…..then destroying that book into whatever the hell the called that……hey, if ready player one was a good read but the movie pissed you off, read this. You’re welcome

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Good start to a new story
Revisado: 07-08-22
If you like galaxy’s edge, renegade star, ember wars and wayward galaxy, you’ll quickly get in to this story. It made me think of “ruins of the earth” a lot. Similar plot line - aliens invade, use aliens shit to fight back and create all-star team to whoop space ass. I took a star away on story because, although the author does know a lot about U.S. Military culture, there were a few unbelievable situations that nagged at me in the story. Overall he did a good job narrating a “wicked Mainer” grunt’s “red dawn” reactions and path towards space pirate captain. R.C. Bray may have had something to do with main character’s believability as well….Mr. Bray is wicked good. I plan on crushing this series and recommend it to anyone who digs military sci-fi and space novels.
