Historia
What did you wish your teacher knew?!?! I think that answer changes over time. It's static. And our experience and engagement with our educators can feel one or two-dimensional at most times. I will tell you what helps, though; it's drawing out your care map. Who freakin’ knew?!?! If you don’t know what that is, Google it. There is not one website I recommend over another, but knowing how to make a care map can serve as one of the foundational documents for parenting a child with any disability.

Historia
One morning, Tophs, Taylor Harris’ round-cheeked, lively 22-month-old, wakes up listless, only lifting his head to gulp down water. She rushes Tophs to the doctor, ignoring the part of herself, trained by years of therapy for generalized anxiety disorder, that tries to whisper that she’s overreacting. But at the hospital, her maternal instincts are confirmed: something is wrong with her boy, and Taylor’s life will never be the same.

I didn't love this, but it wasn't terrible either. Long listen, but not much "meat" to the story.

I didn't have any expectations for this book and was not too impressed in the start, but I am SO glad I stuck with it. Absolutely amazing story--completely engulfing! I listened to this 32+ hour book relentlessly. I usually prefer crime thrillers, but fell in love with this book.
