Horrible Narration
Revisado: 06-01-22
I couldn’t get past the awful depressed breathy whispering of the narration so I couldn’t stand to listen very long. Maybe this is a good book but I’ll never know.

Swearing ruined the book
Revisado: 03-15-22
This is an interesting story and a great narrator. However I could not finish the book. There is so much swearing (mostly taking God’s name in vain) that I had to stop listening. Completely unnecessary and ruined this book!

The performance is very good but the storyline is fantastic. I would give it a 10 if I could.

Code Name Verity is a compelling, emotionally rich story with universal themes of friendship and loyalty, heroism and bravery. Worst book I ever tried to read or listen to!!!
Revisado: 12-18-20
If I could give it zero stars I would. I have over 530 Audible books and have never returned one before but I just had to figure out how and do it this time. I can’t begin to describe how extremely slow moving and boring this was. I couldn’t get half way through it. DON’T BUY THIS ONE!

Professor Josef Held has never recovered from the loss of his beloved wife - and has no intention of ever letting anyone new into his quiet, safe world. Boring. Don’t waste your time.
Revisado: 11-03-20
I wanted to like this book but just couldn’t. The first few chapters were so boring I almost quit it several times. Once I got several chapters in I kind of liked the story line and kept thinking it would get better. I plodded through to the end but it ended just as it began: BORING! Pass this one up!

Chapters in wrong order!!!
Revisado: 10-24-20
I would have given this book 5 stars BUT SEVERAL OF THE CHAPTERS ARE READ IN THE WRONG ORDER!!!
This is very frustrating and confusing. You hear things that don’t make sense, find out things in the wrong way, etc. it even says The End and then the narrator reads a couple more chapters. The storyline was so good I think I will buy the sequel anyway and just hope it doesn’t have the same problem.

Historia
In the first sequel to Anne of Green Gables, Lucy Montgomery's feisty red-headed heroine is now 16 and a school teacher in the small village of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. Although older, she isn't necessarily wiser, and she hasn't outgrown her mischievous antics.

Too much swearing

Way too much unnecessary swearing. This makes it impossible for me to recommend an otherwise good book for young adults or kids
