Good story, not so good narrator
Revisado: 04-20-22
I always enjoy Mark Goodwin’s books. And this one, ripped from the headlines of today is no exception. However I miss his previous narrator and I don’t like this new lady. It almost makes me want to go to reading his next book in print. However I do like the convenience of the Audiobook so we’ll see how the second book goes.

Historia
Before entering the Promised Land, Moses reminded Israel of their history and the covenant they made with the Lord. The Book of Deuteronomy details that covenant, looking at God's promises of cursing and blessing. In this study, Skip Heitzig unpacks those promises and explores the truths found in this still-relevant book of law.

Not an actual book, but REALLY good!
Revisado: 03-27-22
As other people have pointed out, this is not a book. It is a series of sermons, chapter by chapter through Deuteronomy.
That being said, this has been the first time reading through the Bible that I’ve actually made it through Deuteronomy…..and it has been enlightening. Pastor Skip Heitzig explains things in a way that I finally understand this book in the Old Testament. A few of these old testament books are extremely difficult to get through and understand, for example Leviticus, Numbers, and then Deuteronomy. But with these sermons that were put together in the form of a book and sold for an amazingly cheap price, I was finally able to understand this old testament book for the first time. I saw that a few people complained that it wasn’t really a book, and down voted the book for that reason. Considering that the “book“ was approximately a dollar I think those reviews are a little harsh.
I probably got more out of the sermons, in the form of a book than I ever got out of any book that tried to explain these old testament books.
If you’re looking to understand, I recommend this “book“ highly and any of the other “books” that are by Pastor Skip on audible.
If you don’t want to pay for them at all, you can also see them on YouTube for free.

GREAT BEGINNING TO ANOTHER SERIES!
Revisado: 03-29-20
I have most of Mark Godwin’s books, and love them all. I was “lucky” enough to not discover him until last year, so I never had to wait for months for the next book in a series. This time, however, I find myself having finished his book in only 1 week after it was released and I’m going to go crazy having to wait until book 2 comes out.
I love that Kevin Pierce narrates most of Marks books- what a perfect match!
Definitely a great start- and I recommend it very highly!

Historia
Like it or not, Hillary Clinton is almost assuredly going to run for president in 2008. It doesn't matter that her negative poll numbers are high or that her past 15 years in the public eye have been anything but smooth. Since she was a little girl she has dreamed about becoming the first female president, and now that dream is well within reach.

Interesting...
Revisado: 04-01-17
An old book, (2005) but the author reveals much information that has been substantiated over and over in the past 10 years. Again, as others have mentioned, if you love Hillary you will think it's a smear job and if you hate Hillary you will like
It is interesting that the author is a mainstream media writer, yet actually exposes much of Hillary's corruption and how she set herself up for the 2008 run for president, and ends up blown out by Obama. Then, attempts again in 2016 and is again blown out by Trump. Unfortunately I don't think we've seen the last of her.

A visit down memory lane
Revisado: 04-10-16
Enjoyed the story as I always have with Nancy Drew books even as a youngster.
Do not enjoy this narrator --she gets on my nerves. I much prefer the Laura Linney narrated Nancy Drew books as she is much more upbeat and is just a much better narrator in general.
I would recommend these books for early teens and to be honest even older people who just want to revisit their childhood and just remember what it was like to read books back then that were innocent.
