Historia
Ever familiar and instructive, Davis shows why the ancient tales of gods and heroes, from Mount Olympus to Machu Picchu, from ancient Rome to the icy land of the Norse, continue to speak to us today, in our movies, art, language, and music. For mythology novices and buffs alike, and for anyone who loves a good story, Don't Know Much About Mythology is a lively and insightful look into the greatest stories ever told.

Well Done
Revisado: 11-10-05
Davis has given us another well written and informative overview of a pretty complex subject. He's not too deep, and he's no scholar, but he never pretends to be. Rather, its just what you would expect: a good starting point for anyone interested in learning a little about a huge topic. He has not yet matched the humor and wit found in the history volume, but he's always entertaining nonetheless. Learn what you can from Davis and go deeper with someone like Edith Hamilton or Joseph Campbell. Good stuff.
