Historia
Nisha Cantor lives the globetrotting life of the seriously wealthy, until her husband announces a divorce and cuts her off. Nisha is determined to hang onto her glamorous life. Loved it!

I was hooked! Loved the use of 3 epilogues. Very satisfying. I wasn’t keen on the F-bombs. But… the story was phenomenal!

Good stories. Great narration except for a few inconsistent pronunciations of alien species names. Somatazu and Dusman…

Uplifting and informative
Revisado: 04-01-24
This book is what has got me starting this journey again. I had been on the “scrunchy spectrum” for several years before my third child was born. I had a terrible time with post partum depression and fell into my old silky ways. Honestly, being silky is much easier and was the wide road. But I haven’t felt well since I backslid into that lifestyle. This book helped me to get refocused and get going again! Thank you!!!

It is scary but you fall in love with the characters. I love Rowd. The story and is easy to listen to. It is scary so if you are sensitive, maybe not for you. I loved it!

Historia
Given the importance of what they do, and the controversies that often surround them, and the violent people they sometimes confront, it is remarkable that in the history of this country only four active federal judges have been murdered. Judge Raymond Fawcett has just become number five.... Nothing is as it seems and everything’s fair game in this wickedly clever new novel from John Grisham, the undisputed master of the legal thriller.

Kept me interested
Revisado: 02-25-24
I enjoyed this book. I did get a little lost in the middle during the character development of Nat. It comes together in the end, so trust the process. I almost stopped listening because it seemed so off the wall and I didn’t understand why the main characters were harassing him so much. Just keep listening.

It’s two decades in the future, and a Christian college student named Ace Hartwick has just destroyed his neighbor’s so-called “wife”—actually a sexbot named Sally—in a trash compactor. Soon, Ace will be on trial for murder. Unfortunately for Ace, everyone despises his kind of “radical” Christianity, and, in the fragile America of the future, all the juries are fixed.

Good story
Revisado: 02-08-24
I was hesitant at first due to the title. I didn’t want to read a trashy book. However, I found the book entertaining, clean, and enjoyable. I few laugh out loud moments during the trial. Good ending!

Loved everything about it
Revisado: 12-03-23
Ok, I love this book!!! I was scared to listen to Ted Dekkar books because my mom said they were dark and spiritually creepy. Lol. I wasn’t sure what that meant but I gave this a try. Great story line, lovely characters. It built my faith in God and I didn’t find it creepy. I do believe there is so much more to God than we see. Media and modern life makes us numb to moves of the Spirit. My prayer is, Lord, let me walk in Your kingdom.

Different but still good
Revisado: 11-01-23
This was different from most Grisham books because it didn’t have court room drama. It was never slow, but I wish it would have went into more details on Giovanna’s situation. It didn’t feel like a Grisham book but it was entertaining nonetheless. Still a huge Grisham fan!

Wow!
Revisado: 10-02-23
This is such a good book! It held my attention to the very end. It evoked a large range of emotions from laughter, anger, serenity, and sadness. I think this is my favorite John Grisham book thus far. Living in Mississippi, I can visualize this perfectly. Grisham has done his homework on the types of churches too. It really gave me a chuckle when he would talk about all of the churches and what they do. Love it!!!

Wow !
Revisado: 09-23-23
Awesome story! I kept track of the characters too. Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I stopped listening to the book about a 3rd of the way in when the “scene” happened on the beach. It frustrated me because I knew it would be used as blackmail. It frustrated me that such a faithful person with such a wonderful life and wife would fall into adultery so easily. Just a string bikini and some dove eyes and he throws it all away.
But I finished the story because I was curious how it played out. It was good and I ended up loving it other than Mitches one stupid decision.
