Boring and giving up
Revisado: 12-03-19
I'm 22 chapters in and the story is not interesting and the characters are not likable. I tried the sample and found it dry but based on good reviews I gave it a chance. However, it turns out that this book is not for me.

Follow to the finish
Revisado: 11-27-19
The biggest issue I have with this book is that you have to somewhat turn your brain off to enjoy it. The ending is good along with the characters. However, there are so many times when events occur that they most likely would not have. You have to take a lot with a grain of salt.
If you do like this kind of book I would highly recommend Douglas E Richards. I've read all of his books and I was looking to try a new author. Douglas puts so much thought and research into his books and even when dealing with mind reading or time travel somehow the story makes sense, has a lot of complexities, and hard to stop reading to see what will happen next. If you get a chance just check out any of his books.

Historia
What if you developed a technology that made it impossible for anyone to lie? About anything. Would this save humanity from itself? Or would it tear society apart? And just how far would power players around the globe go to stop it? Elias Gibson has invented such a technology. But will this lead to a glorious future, or to the collapse of civilization? Before Elias can answer this question, he finds himself battling for his very survival, and racing to uncover the identities and motives of the treacherous forces arrayed against him.

Historia
LA detective Anna Abbott can see brief, cryptic visions of the future. She just doesn't know it yet. But others do. Others who will stop at nothing to ensure that her abilities never see the light of day. Soon Anna is fighting for her life against an array of powerful adversaries, and not all of them are human. Because a small group of aliens hiding on Earth believe that she can single-handedly alter the course of an interstellar war. One that has raged for thousands of years, but which is completely unknown to humankind. Until now.

I knew it before I read it
Revisado: 10-23-19
Yes, I knew that I would love this book before I even started it. I knew because I've read all of Douglas E Richards books, even the ones he originally wrote for young adults. This book was one of another great books. So if you like this one you will look forward to reading his 17 other books!

Adventure found
Revisado: 10-15-19
Another great book by Douglas E Richards. He puts so much research into his stories and then makes the plot so captivating that it is hard to put down. You will really enjoy Seeker of you like near-fi.
