I’m shook to my very core. I’m beyond grateful to have found this collection of raw humanity in this book, we often lack. The amount of self-awareness (the uncomfortable, but necessary kind) this listen brings is huge. It might not be a book everyone ‘wants’ to read but it certainly is the one everyone ‘needs’.

PS. The performance is also great - you feel like the people in the stories are in the same room with you!

This was a deeply honest and transparent look into some of the hardest truths people might be living. Great insight into the harshest of addictions and how all the money in the world can do so little to help. A book everybody should listen to at least once. As you do, tho, be ready to be hit with a dose of honesty that’s not common in our society.

This book is such a blessing for anyone, who’s had what you’d call a ‘rough’ childhood or has come crashing down during any of the periods of life. It’s encouraging to everyone who’s ever questioned if they are enough or if their experiences are nothing but a wasted opportunities. It’s also a valuable read to those who are trying to understand what their friends or family members have gone through during tough periods in their past.

Wow. This book is all and more one’s looking from a relatable and inspiring book! At times it’s bluntly honest about common stigmas of typical christian behavior. It’s basically all you’ve thought about, but have been too afraid to act out on, etc. The book matches 100% with the title and even though I just finished it, I plan on starting it from the beginning soon enough. Got chills so many times and found myself wondering that this is it! This is exactly how we all should live out the love.

Bottom line. It’s a good listen, even if you don’t consider yourself as a believing person. But it’s a must listen, if you do.
