hum drum

painstakingly BORING and hum drum all the way to chapter 5 and could not finish the book all I could think about was all the more exciting books of historical fiction that we're waiting me while I tried to make myself finish this book. it won't be a waste of money for me because I'm definitely returning it

I couldn't wait to pick up this book but then ...

The audio performer on this book messed it up for me. there was no continuity from the first book to the second as to the characters voices accents Etc. Beverly used a different narrator than the first book. Although the second narrator did an ok job, I found her voices distracting and frustrating because many times they didn't fit the characters ages or gender.

As for the book itself also frustrated me. The timeline of the characters lives from the first book to the second book was all screwed up. Because at the beginning of the book she mentioned that the kids have been there a couple years and then at the end of the book she says that that unlock the end of the first year that Bernadine had lived there.. there were other spots in the book where I noticed the continuity was off. but I must say she's a very good writer in her own right even though I may not get with some of the aspects of the book. I probably will be buying the third book in the series because the original audio performer did that book. I found the book overly simplistic and spots so.

I love this story wholesome yet invigorating. romance without vulgarity. a true page Turner that made me have to buy the second book 5 minutes after I finished the first one. the narrations are awesome and the book flows very nicely

I got to chapter 23ish stopped ,read a whole other book (Spare by Prince Harry which I must say was absolutely great)and then came back and tried to resume this book. Sorry you lost me with the "woke" isms . You have a right to your opinion and I have a right to return my book.

I found this book to be riveting, extremely detailed and real page turner. I felt so honored to actually get this candid REAL, upfront account of his life directly from Prince Harry himself. I never being one too put much if any stock in Media or to even watch the news now for about 2 decades I knew the what information did trickle in through the beast that is ( fake news) was more than likely false. I see now I was right. I've always liked Prince Harry and see him as the brightest light and bravest member of the Royal family. He truly does his mother's name honor ; living as freely as we all should have the ability to choose to live.

ruined a good story

got to the beginning of chapter 5 before I gave up. the unnecessary use of weird pronouns for characters and focus on their LGBTQ+ sexuality totally ruined this book for me. what a shame I was really interested in the storyline but yet again I get another good story ruined by propaganda
