Historia
People start dropping dead around Charlie, giant ravens perch on his building, and it seems that everywhere he goes, a dark presence whispers to him from under the streets. Strange names start appearing on his nightstand notepad, and before he knows it, those people end up dead, too. Yup, it seems that Charlie Asher has been recruited for a new job, an unpleasant but utterly necessary one: Death.

Combination Fantasy and Comedy
Revisado: 04-01-07
Yeah I know it sounds weird, but this fantasy story about death merchants and creepy underworld monsters is one of the funniest damn things I’ve ever heard. I kept wanting to stick my headphones on my co-workers and say, “You gotta hear this!” Needless to say, I found this audible book hugely entertaining. Moore’s colorful characters are really brought to life by Fisher Stevens’ excellent reading. Stevens gives each character their own distinct voice (No easy task considering how different all the characters are.). Get it. Listen to it. Tell your friends.

Great Trilogy
Revisado: 02-04-07
This is actually a review of the whole trilogy since few listeners will listen to only this third part. Actually you realize quickly after beginning part one that you’re hooked. You might as well just go ahead and download all three of them. Hearn (Yes, I know that’s a pen name.) really does it all with this trilogy. This beautifully written epic is full of adventure, romance, political intrigue, espionage, gory violence and even a few passionate sex scenes. What more could you ask for? Wonderfully entertaining stuff; I can’t wait for the movies.

Historia
In six minutes, one of us would be dead. None of us knew it was coming. So says Wes Holloway, a once-cocky and ambitious presidential aide, about the day that changed his life forever. On that Fourth of July, Wes put Ron Boyle, the chief executive's oldest friend, into the presidential limousine. By the time the trip came to an end, Wes was permanently disfigured, and Boyle was dead, the victim of a crazed assassin.

Overblown
Revisado: 11-03-06
I've really enjoyed most of the audible books I've purchased so far but this one is the exception. There's nothing clever, subtle or original about this story. I understand the need for some drama in the narration of a thriller, but Scott Brick sounded like he was about to burst into tears throughout this entire story. Enough already.
To Mr. Meltzer all I can say is "less is more." Is it necessary to milk everything for all its worth? This novel just goes on and on. By the time I finally reached what was supposed to be the big finish,I'd lost interest.
