Historia
Sparking a flurry of heated debate, Hannah Arendt's authoritative and stunning report on the trial of German Nazi leader Adolf Eichmann first appeared in The New Yorker in 1963. This revised edition includes material that came to light after the trial, as well as Arendt's postscript. A major journalistic triumph by an intellectual of singular influence, Eichmann in Jerusalem is as shocking as it is informative - an unflinching look at one of the most unsettling (and unsettled) issues of the 20th century.

Fantabulous
Revisado: 09-09-17
One of the most riveting readings I've had the pleasure of listening to, for one of the most important works of political philosophy ever written. A difficult book made palatable, even pleasurable, by a virtuoso performance.

Historia
Anna Kendrick's autobiographical collection of essays amusingly recounts memorable moments throughout her life, from her middle-class upbringing in New England to the blockbuster movies that have made her one of Hollywood's most popular actresses today. Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

Charming and Lighthearted
Revisado: 06-26-17
What did you love best about Scrappy Little Nobody?
Anna's story, as related in this book, is tremendously charming and feels very real. Her writing is simple and straightforward, and her voice is earnest and fun.
I don't need to relate to an author/narrator in order to enjoy a book, but I did often relate to Anna's story of abject broke-ness while in her early twenties.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Scrappy Little Nobody?
Listening to her stories of red carpet mishaps was very funny, as it sounded a lot more like what I expect red carpets to be like, frankly.
Which scene was your favorite?
The story of ill-fated drunken attempts at seduction on a boat trip was pretty incredible.
