Extremely Disappointing

I loved the first installation, but this follow up - while it started well - quickly devolved into a really boring series of unrelated short stories. Boring, silly and pointless stories. Very disappointing.

I absolutely loved this book. It’s explanations, the author’s obvious passion for mathematics, the atmosphere generated by the period & the famous mathematicians referenced all brought to life by a marvelous narration. Easily my favorite audible book so far.

Full of clichés & bad science. The robot character irritated me so much that I had to stop. It’s like a Saturday morning cartoon trying act like a Mickey Spillane novel. Bad.

I honestly didn’t want this to end. James McAvoy is brilliant as the Sandman & the stories are diverse, extremely dark and highly entertaining. Neil Gaiman has once again come up a cast of characters & scenarios that make for an absolute flight of fancy. His narration throughout is also superb! I want more!
