Amazing story line but the performance...

Too much romance

This turned out to be more of a romance than I thought it would be. It had not one, but two insta-love stories. I could do without all that. If you strip away the romance, the story is pretty good, but the “I love you” when we’ve only known each other a few days ruined it for me. I get that they were trying to run parallels between the two timelines, but it was to the point of ridiculous.

Let me start by saying that I know you can't learn a language in an hour. I didn't expect that. I just thought it would be cool to learn a few basics. The program says that they will say the word or phrase, then break it down, leaving some time to repeat it. My main complaints are that I couldn't understand a lot of what they were saying, and when they actually did break down a phrase, it was still too long to keep it straight. Then they didn't leave much time to repeat it. I think they tried to squeeze too many words and phrases into an hour.
