well Grace is definitely what I thought she was going to be and there's some twists in here. I recommend reading the books in order. there is a bit of violence and no explicit adult content. some making out etc but no naughty details.

there's a lot packed into this book so buckle up buttercup your going for a ride. there's violence but no explicit adult content. there's some back story that includes addiction and suicide but it's handled well. in all a well done mature YA story.

the author really starts to come into his own in the book. things remain pretty mysterious up until almost the end. you have your suspicions but your not quite sure exactly what happened. this can be read as a stand alone.

this book has a longer introduction than most to the background and groundwork of the story but it is interesting. it centers around one man's greed for power and his influence on major political figures. when Ian decides something everyone else better follow orders. the narrator is excellent and there's parts where you wonder who is going to be left living.

interesting especially with covid happening

this story really centers around powerful people in the pharmaceutical industry and the influence they have. the main story takes place around the outbreak of a dangerous world wide pandemic. this is the first book in this series that I've read and I found the characters interesting and well developed. overall for me the story has a very Perry Mason feel to it. Kendall thinks a bit outside the box to find his answers.

unusual war story

we start with some guys trying to find an old abandoned German facility that are rumored to be around a lake. they find some unusual things and we jump to the past. we follow a story about a US regiment and how things ended up where the guys found it in current times. it's a story of greed, murder and revenge that drew in ordinary people and changed them forever. the sound effects are great and the narrator does an excellent job. honestly this would make an excellent murder mystery show/movie.

interesting but busy

this story is really interesting and has not 1 but 2 murder cases. the second comes out by accident but cracked me up when the two crossed paths. the main case has lots of lies and treachery. the path to justice is twisted and really keeps you guessing.

lots of action

this book has lots of action, lies, spies, and dirty government secrets. the narrator is awesome and I got a kick out of the pets. There's violence but not graphic, a little bit of cursing, no adult content. in all an excellent audio book.
