Historia
The Trail is a moving story of how nature helps us find what’s missing in our lives. The tale begins with Gil, who in the wake of his father’s death and recently fired from his job, agrees to accompany his father’s old hiking partner Syd on a month-long trek on the John Muir Trail. There’s just one problem: Gil hates camping and is woefully unprepared for the rigors of the journey. Moreover, he soon learns Syd may not survive the hike.

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

couldnt stop listening. one of his best books. om suprised not one person has commented that he is actually talking about americans in this book. how they use alcohol and tobacco to control people and keep them working is just one way. its obvious yet nobody seems to notice

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

amazing book. some of it was hard to believe but that doesnt matter. the story overshadows that a million times over. this story gets better and better until the end. just when you think its an amazing book it gets 10 times better.

good but long and lacks excitement
Revisado: 04-18-23
great idea. great story. great characters. even with all the good characteristics i couldnt finish the book. so long and uneventful. it could have been an amzing book but just runs on and on and on with little to keep you interested. i listened to 95 percent of the book and finally gave up. this book shouldnt even be half as long as it was. really cool story but not entertaining enough.

great author.
Revisado: 01-11-23
great author and good books. the author does make some extremely aggravating characters. This series is good but has way too much in common with her edge of collapse series. even some of the characters are very very similar. jackson and noah seem to be almost the same guy. i have just started this book so i dont know how jackson will be in the end, but he is a pansy just like noah was. these books would be top notch of it wasnt for the annoying characters. they are definitely worth listening to or reading.

Historia
The 1950s are on the horizon, and Archer is in dire need of a fresh start after a nearly fatal detour in Poca City. So Archer hops on a bus and begins the long journey out west to California, where rumor has it there is money to be made if you’re hard-working, lucky, criminal - or all three. Along the way, Archer stops in Reno, where a stroke of fortune delivers him a wad of cash and an eye-popping blood-red 1939 Delahaye convertible - plus a companion for the final leg of the journey, an aspiring actress named Liberty Callahan who is planning to try her luck in Hollywood.
