Historia
FBI Special agent Brad Raines is facing his toughest case yet. A Denver serial killer has killed four beautiful young women, leaving a bridal veil at each crime scene, and he's picking up his pace. Unable to crack the case, Raines appeals for help from a most unusual source: Residents of the Center for Wellness and Intelligence, a private psychiatric institution for mentally ill individuals whose are extraordinarily gifted. It's there that he meets Paradise, a young woman who witnessed her father murder her family and barely escaped his hand.

Loved it!
Revisado: 05-14-10
I've listened to a number of Dekker's books and loved this as much, if not more, than the others. I especially appreciated how the combination of a serial killer, mental illness, and a girl that doesn't shower so thoroughly demonstrated how much God loves us.

Historia
Few, if any, books have had a more profound and lasting impact on society than this extraordinary piece of reporting that shook the very foundation of American politics. Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward won the Pulitzer Prize for their investigative journalism and immediately became household names. After All the President's Men, nothing would ever be the same.

So that's what happened
Revisado: 06-30-08
I always wanted more information on Watergate-I only ever knew it as a term. I found this book to be very interesting while clearly offering the facts. There were many names, which I think would have been easier to internalize if I had been reading them on a page, and so I think I've mostly forgotten who did what. There was a lot of 'colorful' language and while I could have done without it, I understand most of it to be direct quotations. With all that being said, I loved the book and would recommend it to anyone who loves history.

I thank God for anybody anywhere who is pointing people to the mysteries of God. But those people would all tell you to think long and hard about what they are saying and doing and creating.

Refreshed my walk with God
Revisado: 06-30-08
I've never actually gotten through a Christian book(besides the Bible) until this one. I looked forward to coming back to it each time. It isn't terribly academic and is really pertinent to everyday life. I loved the cultural and historical references and found it to really refresh my Christianity and my reverence for God. As any Christian book should-it points you right back to the Bible. Too bad there aren't more books by Bell available.

Historia
September 8, 1900, began innocently in the seaside town of Galveston, Texas. Even Isaac Cline, resident meteorologist for the U.S. Weather Bureau, failed to grasp the true meaning of the strange deep-sea swells and peculiar winds that greeted the city that morning. Mere hours later, Galveston found itself submerged in a monster hurricane that completely destroyed the town and killed over 6,000 people in what remains the greatest natural disaster in American history.

Interesting and Fast Paced
Revisado: 10-04-07
I really enjoyed this book as I have enjoyed several others by Larson. It maintained a fast pace and remained interesting until the very last sentence.

Historia
In this stirring audiobook, David McCullough tells the intensely human story of those who marched with General George Washington in the year of the Declaration of Independence, when the whole American cause was riding on their success, without which all hope for independence would have been dashed and the noble ideals of the Declaration would have amounted to little more than words on paper.

Historia
Christopher Snow is the best-known resident of 12,000-strong Moonlight Bay, California. This is because 28-year-old Chris has xeroderma pigmentosum (XP), a light-sensitivity so severe that he cannot leave his house in daylight, cannot enter a normally-lit room, cannot sit at a computer.

First book on cd
Revisado: 12-30-05
This was my first experience with a book on cd. It was engaging and suspensful if not a little long winded. Somewhat disappointed at the ending, but overall was enjoyable and would recommend it.
