Still can’t control her behavior
Revisado: 12-26-24
Don’t Like Lindseys lies about some of her risky behaviors. Makes her appear immature and incompetent. She always whines she wishes she had listened to the police or Sully.

Disappointed
Revisado: 11-26-24
Holly is a brat who is willing to put others in danger because she says she can’t help herself “investigating.” Her husband is just as bad and just laughs at her behavior. Disappointing. If she had better judgment, it would’ve been a lot better story. Nobody’s that dumb.

Breathless and painstakingly researched, this is a stunning debut mystery in which Sherlock Holmes unmasks Jack the Ripper. Lyndsay Faye perfectly captures all the color and syntax of Conan Doyle’s distinctive nineteenth-century London.

Tired
Revisado: 12-04-19
I have become disgusted with the 2 main female characters who continually argue with and become offended by anyone who suggests they behave sensibly or safely. It is a theme with these stories. No more for me. Gets old.
