A Short and Sweet Story

As a busy mother, I listen to The Great Gatsby while I cook. The story is short and easy to follow. I like the simple words and clear ideas. The narrator helps me feel the mood of the 1920s. The parties feel bright and fun. Yet the sad parts touch my heart. I think about dreams and life. The story shows how hope can change people. It also shows how money does not bring happiness. I talk about this with my friends. We all agree it is a good read for us. It stays in my mind after I finish. I will read it again soon. I feel happy and thoughtful. I share my ideas with my children. They enjoy my stories.
