I enjoyed this story from David Baldacci. This is the second installment of the Amos Dekker series. The story evolved and mushroomed as the plot expanded. There were moments of plot confusion, but that didn't derail the story. Baldacci digs into some inconvenient truths of the 60s but handles it tactfully and respectfully.

In my opinion, the title of this book should have been "The Last Yard" to connect with the many football references throughout this novel.

I will be sure to put the 3rd Amos Dekker story on my list after I finish a few other books.

This is a book you should listen to with a pencil and notepad as the author provides a treasure trove of useful links. Joanna Penn shares her wealth of knowledge on how to market a book while not making unrealistic promises. You will gain knowledge by reading this book.

The narrator's pronunciation of the word "schedule" made me cringe, but that's of no concern. :-)

I recommend this book to both traditional and self-published authors.

This is my second read from Lamar Giles, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The author has an excellent way with words, and I laughed out loud on multiple occasions.

The premise of the story is different from anything I've read or seen in a movie. I was also pleasantly surprised that "Chidi" from "The Good Place" was the narrator.

I recommend this novel.

I enjoyed this story of the two children (Millie and Jeremiah) and their adventures in the desert. I especially enjoyed the Millie character with her anxious tendencies and inquisitive nature. The author handled the alternating POV well, and I was impressed by how she depicted the inner thoughts and feelings of the children distinctly.

At times, the story had a Scooby Doo mystery vibe that I thoroughly enjoyed so many years ago. I would recommend this book to children and/or Christian parents.

The narrator of this book also did a good job with the proper voice inflections and tone to suit the story.

Good story and character development for the MC. Very, very, very heavy in science--almost to a fault, but the story carried me through it. The narrator (Ray Porter) did a fantastic job.

Angie Thomas delivered a timely story that speaks to the injustices that we've seen far too often. This book masterfully navigates the reader/listener through an imperfect world through the eyes of a sixteen-year-old.

Great narrator as well.

Good story. Heartfelt. If you could search the hearts of all inmates locked away---how many would you find to be innocent?

I found this book to be thought-provoking exploration into the landscape of the main character's soul. Young's uncanny way of vividly explaining the unexplainable is exceptional.

There are elements in this book that remind me of 'The Shack' but this title stands on it's own.

Some of Dennis Quaid's voices were not good. His voice for the President was well done and fitting. On the other hand, the voice for the FBI directory was hard to listen to. All the character voices were good.

I liked the backstory for 'Bach'. The President's negotiation tactics were well written. Some of the plot felt obvious but overall the book was worth reading/listening.
