Dragon Legends is an amazing listen! The world building is rich and immersive and once you start you fall into its rich depths easily. Thea and Seb have grown as a team and have accomplished great feats of heroism. I’m a little upset at Thea for a mistake she made close to the end but it’s a mistake that may have saved her life in that moment. The loss is a big one so I look forward to seeing what happens next. Facing huge changes in leadership and a kingdom on the brink of collapse can Seb and Thea save the day? Start this series now if you haven’t it’s an epic dragon tale if you love fierce dragons and the riders who fight with them this series is for you!

Amazing world building and magic system! Loved the characters!
Revisado: 03-14-25
Dragon Trials is an excellent beginning to a trilogy and I absolutely loved this coming of age story with our unlikely hero and heroine Seb & Thea. I think their dragons choice threw them both for a loop and they struggled to mesh as a team. But slow and sure they come to realize not only they the best of partners they have a destiny to safe their friends, their people, and their kingdom. This was an excellent story with a richly woven world and magic system that thru the fabulous narrator richly comes to life making every minute a delight. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading more in the series!

Really great listen loved the characters and narration!
Revisado: 01-20-25
Trapped Days is a post apocalyptic thriller about a possible EMP blast that takes out the at the very least the national grid. All us services fail within minutes and water takes a few more days. This story follows a few key people in various places and we see the world devolve thru their experiences. It doesn’t take long for people to devolve into a survival of the fittest mentality and ruthless behavior, looting thievery and the like becomes commonplace within days. Those with any semblance of decency find themselves attacked and taken advantage of at almost every turn as they can’t quite understand that people are already turning savage so soon. As with any post apocalyptic situation a few things seem slightly implausible as you would think at least the marshal/war veteran would at least out of anyone expect this mentality and be more careful and less trusting. However, for the sake of the story I like his grappling with his inner character although I find it funny he is ok with stealing from nature ok but he won’t go into a dead man’s house. But that was day two so I guess life choices. I like Kim Sarah’s daughter she us a dusty little thing n Dennis who is in no shape to protect anyone by the time he finds her had his work cut out for him. Overall, I like book one and definitely plan to co timer the series. I loved the different situations and some of the rather ingenious solutions to some pretty serious problems. The bastion was great and I loved the characters voices!

Historia
From the mountains, a witch will rise. Knight Protector Brynja knows why the people of her village never wander too far. There’s a witch who lives deep in the heart of the mountain. Some say she’s one of the last elves, who will have her vengeance on mankind. Some say she’s a myth, meant to frighten wandering children. But Brynja knows better, because she was one of those wandering younglings. And she saw the witch as a child. She still sees her, in her nightmares. When an army of dragon riders shows up at Brynja’s doorstep, the knight protector has to warn her queen.

I love our brave MC as she fights for what she wants as her magic devours her mind!
Revisado: 03-26-24
Bewitched is a fascinating book I have both read and listened to it and I am fully enchanted by this world. I love Selene as she is determined to join a Coven and do great things despite the fact that every cast of magic steals her memories one as a time.
She is rejected multiple times because of the consequences of her magic use. Selene begs for the chance to prove despite her challenges she has much to offer the Coven. They set her upon what seems a near impossible task of a proper vision quest and the acquisition of her familiar. Determined not to be defeated Selene books a flight to an exotic location only to have her plane ripped from the sky by a magical force calling for her. Selene saved the plane although they still crash everyone survives. The haunting voice still calls for her and she wanders into the jungle where she finds her familiar a giant panther. She then releases an ancient warlord who insists Selene is his wife, betrayer, mortal enemy and soulmate. Then he leaves her in his former tomb.
Upon returning home Selene is greatly unsettled by what has happened but she is accepted into the Coven and begins her studies trying to put the terrifying sorcerer behind her. Only Memnon has other plans… Such wicked plans for revenge Salene soon realizes her life may never be the same. Incredible book I highly recommend it!

Tru’s strength and resilience truly brilliantly written and narrated!
Revisado: 01-09-24
Rebel Unicorn is absolutely amazing! The narration is perfect and I loved how it makes the book shine.
I simply love Tru she is a force to be reckoned with! Tru’s friendship with Forest is incredibly endearing abs I’m so glad the little wolf has a trusted working partner after the hard life she has had. Tru’s angel is well a total d bag in this book and I will never understand why he doesn’t trust her after being his ward and Tru’sprotector for years.
His loss I suppose because Tru won’t forgive or forget anytime soon and he’ll have no fury like a woman scorned. Tru throws everything she has into becoming an unstoppable force. As if she wasn’t already! Watch out world here comes Tru and she is coming for the bad guys and anyone who dares step on her heart ever again. I highly recommend this series it’s fantastic! A definite must read.

Revisado: 05-07-23
I love Black Arts, White Craft it as well written and I love that one selfless act changed the course of a Black Witch to choose to become white. I didn’t care much for the Demon mating ritual Angie it’s a tad childish and was mentioned so much it became tiresome. However, everything else about the book was fantastic and I loved the plot and storyline! Highly recommend it m.

Excellently woven story with great world building!
Revisado: 03-30-23
A Door in the Dark is what I hope the beginning of a new series. I loved Ren who so tenaciously fights for survival after a portal malfunction leaves her stranded in the woods with 5 other classmates. This all happens the night after a party trick gone wrong has devastating consequences for a small tea shop in a poorer side of town well below the rich family’s home that exists high above it. Can Ren find her footing and help her classmates survive while trying to impress the sons of two noble houses that could change her future or will the unknown dangers in the woods take them on the dark to early graves. Will cunning and magic be enough or will the survival of the fittest have the last say.
I was riveted by the story and the twists and turns had me speechless. The revelations at the end had my head spinning because I was expecting something different. And now I eagerly hope there will be more to come in this story. It’s a fantastic read I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed the first book but this was disappointing.
Revisado: 03-29-23
I found the first book to be a taut thriller with a few flaws that could be overlooked. This next book just had entirely to much internal monologue and implausible plot threads. With more devious machinations and more complex characters and world building this could have really worked as a next level mind blowing phycological puzzle. But sadly it had to many secrets but not enough foundation to hold it up. I wanted to love it and I wish I had. It wasn’t terrible but it just wasn’t believable enough to really grab me.
