Historia
Felicia, a single mother and lawyer by day, volunteers at a local crisis center to give back to her tightknit community in a small Wisconsin town. One night, she answers a horrifying call: through tears, a frantic teenage girl tells her that she was a victim of sexual assault at a local house party. Felicia is shocked, and breaking protocol, she begins communicating with the girl on her own, determined to keep her safe and hold her assailants accountable. But as she gets closer and closer to the truth, she can’t shake the feeling that she and the girl are connected by more than the phone call.

Perfect
Revisado: 05-25-24
This is my first Lucinda Berry book but I am pretty much hooked and I have to say it’s a perfectly produced audiobook! Lately some books are OVER produced to the point that it’s distracting to listen too, the whole footsteps and doors closing unnecessary and distracting to the actual story so I am so glad they didn’t do that here but the phone calls brilliant. Huge fan of AJ Cook she has a great voice for this but also Tessa really loved the listen.
The story was heart wrenching but so good, a proper thriller beautifully written in a minimalist style that gets to the point yet draws you in with suspense basically the perfect way to write psychological thrillers. It’s also obvious all the research that goes in to the story and author’s experience in trauma and psychology so even though the story is something people might feel is out there it’s also so unbelievably possible…just great read listen it’s great!

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow - and horror. As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling - and how their lives would play out from that point on. For Harry, this is that story at last.

Harry found a new job
Revisado: 01-20-23
The book was super interesting even though I don’t understand or care for the concept of royals but it’s not my country so each for their own I guess. The day after I read this book I read an article on how Meghan brainwashed Harry but “becoming” Diana cos she was is an actress so somehow she mimicked Diana and then manipulated Harry…and I smiled and thought yip what a load of made up shit this only reinforces for me that Harry is telling the truth and the media is full of BS although we all knew that already right?! One thing that really stood out was the reading of the book I think there is a new career for him in reading books on audible.

Historia
In 1997, Jan Ullrich announced himself to the world by obliterating his rivals in the first mountain stage of the Tour de France. So awesome was his display that it sent shockwaves throughout the world of cycling and invited headlines such as L’Équipe’s ‘The New Giant’. He went on to become Germany’s first ever Tour winner, storming to victory in that edition by almost 10 minutes, a result that was greeted as an era-defining changing of the guard. Everyone agreed: Jan Ullrich was the future of cycling.

Wow its so Boring
Revisado: 11-21-22
I am so appreciative that Audbile allows some returns because this must be the worst book on cycling I have come across and I tried for a few hours over several days and no life is too short. And its everything from the story down to the person reading it who could put anyone to sleep. I have pretty much read or listenined to every cycling book out there and really this has no soul.

Talk about making women sound stupid...
Revisado: 05-26-17
The story was actually very good and intriguing however ever time the narrator performed his "female voice" he made ALL the female characters sound not just dull but also stupid like they were complete airheads when in fact according to the story the main female protagonist was anything but stupid. I cringed every time he went into his "female voice" and after a while found it quite insulting really.
