Hey you guys, it’s Leslie. I’m excited to share my story with you. Now, I’m gonna be honest: Some of the details might be vague because a b*tch is fifty-five and she’s smoked a ton of weed. But while bits might be a touch hazy, I can promise you the underlying truth is REAL.

Historia
Mary B. Addison killed a baby. Allegedly. She didn't say much in that first interview with detectives, and the media filled in the only blanks that mattered: a white baby had died while under the care of a churchgoing black woman and her nine-year-old daughter. The public convicted Mary, and the jury made it official. But did she do it?

Very interesting format for a memoir.
Revisado: 09-06-22
I struggled to finish it. I wasn't expecting her to read it like a 4hr poem. As much as I enjoy poetry and love a good memoir, for me those two should never intertwine. I appreciate the author being the narrator and liked the overall story.

I'm glad it was free!
Revisado: 03-23-21
I couldn't wait to get through this. It was awful to say the least. Chapter after chapter of how everything that happened to him was kinda his fault but mostly because of someone else. If he wasn't taking jabs at his ex-wife, he was talking about how he was the best at EVERYTHING (acting, dancing, choreography, writing, etc.). This book lacked direction, consistency and depth. There was no real story here! It should have been a podcast instead. His pace of reading felt like he was reading lines from Scandal, why so fast for an audiobook? Also, too many technical glitches that should have been noticed during editing. I was more of a fan before I read this book, now I'm kinda put off by him.
