Crass, to the point and in your face were the lessons delivered in Kyle Burns "Serve," and I soaked them in with a guided intention. This compilation of life lessons were not new by any means, as highlighted by the dense litany of quotes and exerts from well know authors and thought leaders throughout the book, but it was the construction of these lessons and the personal application in the author's current and continuous growth that made them resonate. This is a work that I will listen to again and then again, taking notes as I work to apply these lessons in my life and easy of thinking.
