Fantastic story that just made you crave more and had the perfect amount of twists. The voice acting was wonderful and I appreciated the full cast. I binged it in one sitting and highly recommend!

Historia
When a mutilated corpse is found bound to a tree deep in the forest of remote Aubrey Island, Washington, residents learn that the murder mirrors, in every ritualistic detail, a series of revenge killings described in a century-old local ghost story. More abductions and killings soon follow. Justin Riddley, recently transferred to the island's small college, faces growing evidence that one of his new friends and fellow students may be the murderer. John Marshall, redemption-seeking captain of the local police force, leads the frantic murder investigation.

Kept me second guessing
Revisado: 12-12-23
Pros: Overall the story for this book was fairly good and kept me second guessing. Is the killer Ridley? Chapman? Sandhurst? Boyd? Lasko? Could it be Marshall who keeps “having episodes” because of past trauma? Every time I thought I 100% knew who was the killer, an event or interaction would happen that would make me rethink what I knew which is exactly what I want in a mystery/thriller. This book is also surprisingly philosophical in an enjoyable way which I didn’t expect and was a great addition.
Cons: if you are not a fan of strong language/cursing this book may not be for you. Ridley is a truly annoying and unlikeable main character. I kept getting annoyed with all of his self pity and him constantly calling himself a loser or douchbag. There was the constant repetition of everyone “having to piss” or urinate which honestly felt like a filler in the writing and it would irritate me.
