I have a good deal more respect for Farrow now. Never been a fan of celebrity reporting or reporters, but he definitely has talent. And way more patience with the needy, entitled, and high - maintenance population.

Historia
In the first single-volume cradle-to-grave portrait in six decades, acclaimed biographer David Michaelis delivers a stunning account of Eleanor Roosevelt’s remarkable life of transformation. An orphaned niece of President Theodore Roosevelt, she converted her Gilded Age childhood of denial and secrecy into an irreconcilable marriage with her ambitious fifth cousin Franklin. Franklin Roosevelt transformed Eleanor from a settlement house volunteer on New York’s Lower East Side into a matching partner in New York’s most important power couple in a generation.

Depressing
Revisado: 01-30-25
I get that biographical works try to provide an unvarnished image of the subject. E is laudable individual with strength and courage. Sadly, she was a victim of emotional abuse from the get go. I wish she’d had access to some compassionate talk therapy. I couldn’t finish the piece as it left me feeling so terribly sad.

Historia
The 10 enlightening (and often humorous) lectures of Medieval Myths and Mysteries will show you how far from the “dark” times of legend these centuries were. Uncover the facts about the Knights Templar. Reveal the truth behind the tales of legendary creatures like the Questing Beast and the unicorn. Trace the events of the Black Death and the ways it altered the world in its wake, and much more. With Professor Armstrong, you will dig deep into the ways that later generations reshaped the narrative of the medieval years and perpetuated the myths.

Historia
The Overstory unfolds in concentric rings of interlocking fable that range from antebellum New York to the late 20th-century Timber Wars of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. An air force loadmaster in the Vietnam War is shot out of the sky, then saved by falling into a banyan. An artist inherits 100 years of photographic portraits, all of the same doomed American chestnut. Artful weaving of the branches of a family tree. Sad, hopeful, intelligent and mystical. I loved this book way more than I thought I would. I had to restart and begin again with attention and intention. Not for the get-to-the-point reader. This book is a walk in the prehistoric woods.

Now, decades later, a film about the murders is shooting at the mansion. On-set caterer Laurie Trotter ignores gossip that the production is cursed. But then people start dying....

Heads of agencies are just that the boss. They have subordinates abound. No personal appearances. Only for sure things after the fact.
The use of a hell fire missile in a tender box forest. To many red flags to even be deployed. I.E. other directors heads would be at risk for termination.

To many of the general public and the politicians don’t see nor understand the horrors of what a gun battle dies to the human body. They miss the sound, the smell and the mental strain. They believe the Hollywood version of wounds. When it’s frequently a sheer terror , suck it up and don’t think about what you see. Do what you know, fix what can with knowledge / experience you have acquired.
This RN says Thank you again for completing the fight for acknowledgment from our country.
