I loved this second book in The Elements series. There are disruptions to Earth's supply of heat suppressants, so Major Tor Savan and Lt. Azure Lynwood have to come up with a way to help everyone get through the resulting upheaval as safely as possible. I love how so many characters worked together to do their best by each other to get through a really tough situation. And I love how Tor and Azure continued to learn about themselves and what a relationship with an alpha means for Azure--so interesting! Plus there's a new side character introduced that I love and he finds his alpha by the end of book two.

The narration is wonderful and I love all the voices!

I hope book three is released soon because there are more twists and turns to come!

I loved this series--so many twists and turns! Book one is about the main couple of the series, Azure and Tor, as they work together to get Azure through an unexpected heat while they're stuck on a moon of Jupiter. The dynamics between the couple as they try to figure out their own biology was so well written and the ending pulls you right into book two. The narration was well done and I loved the voices for Azure and Tor!

Exciting MM Sci-Fi Story With Excellent Narration

The story of Kade, a dimari slave that permanently bonds to his master, and Aiden, the human who condemns slavery but now has to figure out how to treat Kade so that he doesn't give up on life when he finds out his master only got him by accident, is fascinating and has lots of exciting twists and turns. I loved how Aiden was determined to make Kade's life the best possible and worked hard to figure out ways to determine what Kade's opinions were when Kade wasn't even aware of them.

I was thrilled when I realized this book had been narrated and really loved the narrator. I was surprised when I realized the narrator and the author were the same person, and I usually avoid author-narrated audios, but Gabriel Danes did a wonderful job with the narration and it added so much to the story! Can't wait for more audios from this author.

I loved the audios of the first three books in this series, so I was thrilled to see an audio for book four! I loved this narrator (Simon Goldhill) just as much Hamish Mckinlay, so that was great too.

This book is about a side character from books one through three, Captain Iain Sinclair, and the man he's loved since he was a boy. Iain has to learn how to decide to choose happiness for himself and he has a lot to work through to be able to get to that point. The book switches between the past and the present as the story progresses and has a wonderful ending!

I'm really hoping we'll get an audio for Kit's story (Restored, book five) soon!

Although it takes a while for Eric to get past his hatred of Ryan (a lot of that hatred is because he thinks Ryan is too nice lol), once they get started, I loved how they met all the challenges they had to deal with together and grew so much both individually and as a couple over the course of the book. There are some great side characters like Eric's mom and Pete, one of the other assistant coaches, and lots of hockey. And the two of them are so hot together as Ryan explores new aspects of his sexuality. Cooper North did an amazing job with their voices and the various accents and I can't wait to hear more from Ari Baran and Cooper North!

I laughed a lot reading this book but adding Nick J Russo to the mix and I was dying! Marty is my favorite character in this series, he's so sweet and that perfect blend of clueless and a certain kind of smart, and I love how he comes into Dalton's world and opens it up and makes it so much better! And the bonus short Romancing Dalton Beauregard was the perfect ending and had me in stitches!

So as another reviewer mentioned, DJ Heart has a very specific style with lots of sex and pushing boundaries. There was actually more plot than I was expecting and I enjoyed seeing how the four guys came together. I thought both narrators did a really great job with the narration and had pretty distinct voices for the four main characters (and wow, Connor Brown's alpha voices were good!). Really hoping DJ Heart gives Marcus a story and these same narrators do that one too!

Love Ari Baran and Cooper North Together!

I'm so glad Cooper North was the narrator because his voice works perfectly for Ari Baran's writing, which really pulls you into the story and keeps you in the moment with the characters. I loved Zach and Nate and was pulling for them so hard. Zach is trying to recover from being cut by his first team for partying too much (which happens two years before the story) and Nate is dealing with anxiety and not feeling like he's good enough. They've been best friends for the last two years and Zach creates an excuse for them to start hooking up and there are some hilarious parts and some really sweet parts in addition to them being so hot together. But neither of them has the confidence to talk about what's happening, so they end up struggling as the season gets closer and closer to the finals. The ending was very satisfying with plenty of time to enjoy them being together. And there were so many scenes with my favorite characters from book one, Bee and Netty and Mike Sato and even Daniel Garcia (the two MCs from book one).

The premise of this book is that Valentine needs to have someone who truly hates him and will verbally abuse him during rough sex, to call him a worthless piece of sh*t during sex and really mean it. He says he’s tried scenes at BDSM clubs but they didn’t work for him because the person didn’t really hate him. Also he says he’s worked with several therapists and that he’s been told that as long as he’s safe, this is fine as a way to deal with his issues.

For me, the thought of a reputable therapist endorsing a patient finding someone who hates him to yell that hate at him while he’s in the vulnerable position of bottoming seems really hard to believe. And not only does it seem that behaving this way would be damaging to Valentine’s mental health, since he eggs Marshall on and tries to rile him up into hating him more so Marshall will be rougher when they have sex and having Marshall focus on that hate by spending two nights a week having hate sex seems like it would be pretty detrimental to Marshall’s mental health too.

After about a fourth of the book, Marshall’s hate starts to change and then the book actually becomes pretty sweet with a lot of hurt/comfort. It didn’t make sense to me that Valentine seemed to suddenly be okay with having just rough sex and humiliation without the hatred, though, so that was another issue for me, but it was minor compared to the other issues I had.
