Historia
After nearly eighteen months at Basgiath War College, Violet Sorrengail knows there’s no more time for lessons. No more time for uncertainty. Because the battle has truly begun, and with enemies closing in from outside their walls and within their ranks, it’s impossible to know who to trust. Now Violet must journey beyond the failing Aretian wards to seek allies from unfamiliar lands to stand with Navarre. The trip will test every bit of her wit, luck, and strength, but she will do anything to save what she loves—her dragons, her family, her home, and him.

Performance could have been a 5 star
Revisado: 03-04-25
Great story. But the different readers near the end was very confusing at first. Absolutely hated Xaden's voice. Talk about over dramatic! The heavy breathing didn't help. That chapter was so annoying that I have no idea what was said smh. Had to find out a different way. Grateful it was just one chapter, although an important one. Sigh!

Historia
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Not the best book of the series
Revisado: 11-20-24
OMG too much Nesta. This book was a third of her and Cassian having sex. Not that it’s bad if you want to read a romance novel. After the third or fourth time, I fast forwarded past it. If that’s what you want to hear, then this book is for you lol. As for the narrator, not good. She made Feyre sound like a total diva and Rhysand like a jerk. The amount of background noise was bad. I keep thinking someone was near me when I had my AirPods on. The overall story was good but I definitely won’t give it a second listen

Piloted by a six-year-old girl, the godlike Skalm guards the Districts of TASC. Her family is long dead. Her adopted father is a synthetic copy of an alien, her nanny an artificial mind connected via subspace to every part of the globe, feeding the young girl information, finding prey to satiate her growing thirst. Ugh!
Revisado: 11-20-23
I enjoyed the first two books but gave up halfway through this book. Way too many things going on. It got to the point that I was just hearing words but not really listening. I kept rewinding after I found myself saying "who is this?" to see how this new character became part of the book. Very confusing. Oh and what about the characters from the other books? It's as if the author just got tired of them.
The only thing I liked was R.C. Bray. I enjoy listening to him read. That's probably why I listened as long as I did.

These two had me laughing out loud. I loved their wit and bantering. They gave a lot interesting information about the history of Scotland. Their narration was great. Very easy to listen to. Great story tellers. Hope their make another one soon. Looking forward to Men in Kilts.

Historia
A childhood in a privileged household in 1950s Havana was joyous and cruel, like any other - but with certain differences. The neighbor's monkey was liable to escape and run across your roof. Surfing was conducted by driving cars across the breakwater. Lizards and firecrackers made frequent contact. Carlos Eire's childhood was a little different from most. His father was convinced he had been Louis XVI in a past life. At school, classmates were attended by chauffeurs and bodyguards. Then, in January 1959, the world changed....

A must-read for descendants of Cuban refugees
Revisado: 05-23-19
Being a daughter of Cuban refugees, I’ve always wanted to understand what it was like for my family to go through what they did. There are a lot of similarities to their stories. The only thing I wish they would have done was to have a Cuban narrate for the proper pronunciations of Spanish words.
