Historia
Michelle knows being the first lady of Mount Zion Baptist Church is an important and much-coveted position, so she always gives thanks for a dutiful husband and a prosperous life. But she also prays for Darvin to spend more time with her, talking about something other than Mount Zion's affairs. Michelle's faith is further put to the test when the seductive vixen Daphne Carlton arrives on the steps of their church, determined to make Michelle's life a living hell so she can get rid of Michelle and assume her role as the first lady.

No first lady
Revisado: 03-17-21
This book was absolutely ridiculous! It’s supposed to be about a first lady of a church and everything that she goes through. However after listening to this book it seems that a First Lady’s job is to complain and wear designer label clothing. I don’t know how this book has so many high reviews it is absolutely discouraging and disgusting that this is what the black community can come up with. Isn’t a first lady supposed to be humble or meek? Not this one. Suspicious of her husband at every turn. Her husband the pastor has no discernment. For a true believer who follows Christ 24 hours a day 7 days a week, this book is lacking. And the ending absolutely ridiculous

Historia
Ten years ago, Grace saw something that would forever change the course of history. When evil in its purest form is unleashed on the world, she and others from their religious community are already hidden deep in the hills of Tennessee, abiding by every rule that will keep them safe, pure - and alive. As long as they stay there, behind the red perimeter. Her older brother's questions and the arrival of the first outsiders she's seen in a decade set in motion events that will question everything Grace has built her life on.

Amazing Read

Overall, I enjoyed this book immensely! The book picks up pace relatively quick. It shows the dangers of having a religious spirit and the difference of having an a religious spirit and having a relationship with Christ. My sister and I truly enjoyed the book.
