Just pk
Revisado: 01-17-23
The book wasn't bad. It's a decent memoir. 1. I felt like I learned little new information from the book after listening to a few of his interviews promoting the book. So in that respect, I feel like I wasted a credit. 2. I want to sympathize and connect with him, but just sounds like a jerk. Clean and sober M Perry just doesn't sound like a likeable person. This is the only book that I feel as though it would have benefited the book to have someone else read it

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Easy and engaging read. The Chapters are short, so don't be intimated by the numbers of chapters.

Historia
The world knows Lamar Odom as a two-time NBA world champion who rocketed to uncharted heights of fame thanks to being a member of both the storied Los Angeles Lakers and the ubiquitous Kardashian empire. But who is Lamar, really? Fans have long praised his accessibility and genuine everyman quality - he is a blinding talent who has suffered a series of heartaches, setback, and loss.

Good performance. Meh for the author
Revisado: 08-26-19
I struggled with L.O.'s self-absorbed personality and victim-mentality. Nothing is ever his fault even though it really is. The performance was good though.

Historia
Snowing in Bali is the story of the drug trafficking and dealing scene that's made Bali one of the world's most important destinations in the global distribution of narcotics. With its central location to the Asia Pacific market, its thriving tourist industry to act as cover for importation, and a culture of corruption that can easily help law enforcement turn a blind eye, Bali has long been a paradise for traffickers as well as for holiday-makers. Kathryn Bonella, best-selling author of Hotel Kerobokan, has been given extraordinary access into the lives of some of the biggest players in Bali's drug world, both past and present.

Page-turner ... so to speak

I hated to press pause. This book is fantastic. You become so interested in the lives of the subjects, not necessarily hoping that they'll succeed in their illegal activities but hoping that they will get out the game before they die.
