Historia
Beneath the dusky glow of a millennium moon, an ancient mystery is unfolding. Two very different vampires have each consumed a vial of blood containing the life force of two primordial princes. Braden Bratianu was only five years old when he was sired into the Vampyr race. The only fledgling to be made - not born - he struggled with his new identity. Kristina Riley Silivasi came from a troubled home and a tragic past. Rescued from a Dark One by an Ancient Master Healer, then mistaken for an ancient vampire’s destiny, she was swiftly ushered into a terrifying universe.

Tessa Dawn and Eric G. Dove do it again!
Revisado: 03-16-21
I have loved Tessa Dawn's books from the moment I picked them up. I love that the characters are so well developed. It's so easy to get attached to them, and to want to know what's happening with them. Braden has been my favorite character since he walked in with his corny Dracula attempt. It has been a pure joy to watch him grow into his own. This book felt so different to me from the rest of the books in this series. I loved the flashbacks, the family building, the gruesome battles, everything. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Tessa and Eric do it again! Blood Web was exhilarating! My only disappointment is that Eric couldn't read faster to get through the unexpected twists and turns. This book will definitely be high in my listening rotation list.

As a ruthless sentinel sworn to protect the ancient Vampyr king and the house of Jadon, he has "HOJ" literally inscribed on his heart: a heart that was tragically broken centuries earlier, when human hunters slayed his mother and Dark Ones murdered his father. Having survived the unthinkable, he never dreamed he would come this close to another human predator, let alone a female pretending to be his destiny.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Revisado: 07-10-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
A million times yes. I've loved Tessa Dawn's books since the moment I picked up Blood Destiny. But this story, it blew them all out of the water.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved that it was so much more than an erotic journey, or nonstop violence. There was some seriously beautiful character development.
Which scene was your favorite?
Without giving away anything, there was some serious beautiful violin playing, and well, everything with Braden. He really grew into himself this story.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I really don't want to give anything away, but Braden. My goodness. He had me crying like a baby.
Any additional comments?
I would definitely suggest every one of Tessa Dawn's books to anyone who likes a darker supernatural series. If you're looking for a lot of mindless sex scenes and PG battle scenes, this is not your series. But if you're into well developed characters, a forever twisting plot, and just one hell of a story, you've found the right series.

Revisado: 01-16-17
Where does Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 10.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved how a bunch of little stories went along smoothly with Zane's story. It was fun to watch them all come together to make a well rounded story.
I also loved hearing about the dragon's home. I look forward to hearing more unfold in future books.
Which scene was your favorite?
Without giving anything away, during a fight scene where Ghost came in and was utterly amazing.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It definitely was. I found myself driving a little slower so I would have more time to listen!

Historia
Julien Lacusta is a troubled soul, born into tragic circumstances, and raised in a violent time. Despite being a Master Warrior in the house of Jadon, and one of the most elite trackers the Vampyr have ever seen, he is damaged to the core: tormented by endless shadows, haunted by unseen ghosts. And he knows - by all the celestial gods he knows - that if he ever releases those demons, the beasts that lurk within, there will be hell, fire, and brimstone to pay.

Sometimes the biggest battle is on the inside
Revisado: 06-21-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Blood Ecstasy to be better than the print version?
Yes and no. I personally love reading a story. It sinks in a little better. But, I love hearing the characters come to life. Plus, Eric singing... That's not available by reading!
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that the main characters both had realistic demons that they had to fight before they could be together. That love could find a way even after a wicked past that neither deserved.
What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Singing! Wowsers. But really, he is an incredible narrator. He brings the characters to life. The feminine voice in my head while reading has been replaced by a smooth, masculine voice.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Tragedy. Redemption. Reborn.
Any additional comments?
If you loved this story, check out the rest of the Blood Curse Series. They are all fantastic stories.

Revisado: 03-15-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Most definitely. It is a quick listen, it hits up every emotion you can feel, and is super sassy.
What other book might you compare Daywalker - The Beginning to and why?
Maybe a few stories in the Skeleton Crew. Nothing comparable in storylines, but just the overall read. It'll keep your drawn to the end, on the edge of your seat.
What does Emily Beresford bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Verbal spunk. I knew it was there while reading it, but it's just more fun to hear another female read it. So many books are narrated by men. It was nice to hear a woman who nailed the character.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A girl, her dog, and the desert. Until...
Hahahaha... that's why I don't do tag lines.
Any additional comments?
The short story left me wanting more and more. I thought it was a great, quick read. Totally worth the credit.

Is that a trident in your pocket?
Revisado: 02-01-16
What did you love best about Blood Vengeance?
Salvatore. He is the ultimate bad vamp. Villains never get enough development in most stories. This is not the case in Tessa Dawn stories.
What did you like best about this story?
That characters from former books made appearances. In the previous books, we grow to know and love the characters of Dark Moon Vale. Seeing them having parts in each this story is like a familiar friend.
Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?
Ramsey. While reading the Blood Curse Series, Ramsey was my least favorite hero type character. But hearing Eric G. Dove voice him, I had a whole new opinion.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Without spoilers, it's tough. But there is a moment where Brooke has all her mommy instincts roar to life. Seeing a destiny still have human moments backed by vampiric strength and awesomeness was outstanding.
Any additional comments?
I recommend this series to anyone looking for a DARK FANTASY grouping of stories. Totally not for the faint of heart. If you're looking for romance, this isn't for you.

New world, same incredible story telling
Revisado: 12-11-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Definitely. Well, I would suggest a friend to start at the beginning of the series and then listen to this book. It is a truly engaging story. Filled with a fantasy land like no other.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that the brothers were taken out of their world to somewhere new and foreign to them. It really let each character shine.
Have you listened to any of Eric G. Dove’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have. So far I have listened to him read the previous books in this series. I think with each book, his narration gets stronger and stronger. I really enjoy him as a narrator.
If you could take any character from Blood Father out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Braiden. I think this story was his turning point. HIs time where he turned into a bit of a man. He was charming, brave, and loyal. I look forward to seeing his character continue to develop.
Any additional comments?
I was engaged from beginning to end. I genuinely enjoyed the new landscape, and generally everything this story had to offer. A definite powerhouse of a story added to this already exceptional series.

Saber Alexiares is no ordinary vampire. He is like a cruel, fire-breathing dragon. Reared in the bowels of the colony by Dark Ones, he has no conscience, no compassion, and no saving grace. Captured by the enemy, he is sentenced to execution by sunlight only to discover that his body will not burn - he isn't who he thought he was. He was stolen at birth. He was reared by the wrong house. And the sunlight isn't going to kill him because he does have a soul.

Don't judge too quickly.
Revisado: 11-24-15
Would you listen to Blood Redemption again? Why?
Multiple times. For me, it is rare to find a story that can still shock me with it's plot twists. Even more rare than that, to find a book with such raw emotion. A range of emotions at that.
Besides the actual story, the narrator is outstanding. I would listen to him read all the time.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the ultimate struggle of good vs evil all in one man. Of all the males in this series of books that I've listened to, Saber has been my favorite to watch develop into who he is.
What about Eric G. Dove’s performance did you like?
I like that his women voices have evolved with this series. I like that he's got a great angry voice. Plus, his natural reading voice is just outstanding. He reads at the perfect speed. He enunciates beautifully.
Who was the most memorable character of Blood Redemption and why?
Saber. Oddly, I usually find lesser roles in books more interesting than the main character. But that was not the case with this story. Saber sucked me in fully, and listening to his anguish, his rage, his hate, his love, his everything made me feel so many emotions while reading. Definitely a character you want to read more about.
Any additional comments?
This book (and series) is beautifully (okay, maybe not the best word for something so dark.) written and narrated. I would highly recommend this book, and series if you like your vampires a lot more graphic and badass, and a lot less, well, sparkly, and super romantic. Sensitive readers, this is not for you.

I really didn't care for dragons... Until now.
Revisado: 11-14-15
What made the experience of listening to Dragons Realm the most enjoyable?
Dragons Realm was nothing like anything I've ever listened to before. The actual story was so well written. I had to keep listening to know what was coming. I would stop listening, and my mind would be obsessed with what was going to happen next. On top of the sheer greatness of the story, Mikael Naramore read this story perfectly. He sounded like royalty. He sounded like he was from the time period this book was happening in. It was very easy to let my mind wander to the times of knights and beasts. Witches and shades.
Overall, the team of Tessa Dawn and Mikael Naramore really just made for an overall outstanding listen.
What other book might you compare Dragons Realm to and why?
As I mentioned before, this was a very unique book to me. I'm not sure I've ever really read a book that I can compare this to.
The only other book in that world of kings and dragons that I enjoyed that much was Beowulf. They aren't comparable stories, but both had incredible tales to tell, and character development for days.
What does Mikael Naramore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Old World charm. The dragon princes themselves (besides being hot) just don't have a lot of appeal. They're kinda jerks. For the most part, they are doing what they are required of the time. But, in modern times, it's a bit revolting. Mikael Naramore kinda makes you forget that, and reminds you why these women find these man beasts appealing.
If you could take any character from Dragons Realm out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Damian. But Damian a little later in the book. I feel like at that point, he is the perfect mix of all that is awesome in a man. I think he would be the perfect gentleman, crazy smart, and pretty wicked post dinner.
Any additional comments?
I have had the joy of reading and listening to other stories by Tessa Dawn. I was honestly nervous to take on this book. It was far out of my reading/listening comfort zone. But, I so enjoy her writing style, that I had to listen to this one. I am so glad I did. I'm ready for more dragons!
