Do the best you can, with what you have, some of the time
Revisado: 02-01-25
The world and workplace can be very confusing, and Jess helps make sense of it all for us, reminding us that doing something is better than doing nothing. I love and will requote her very often: “Do the best you can with what you have some of the time“. It’s such a powerful message and this is a must read, or must listen to book.

A great diversion
Revisado: 10-27-24
I usually listen to books for my business, and every so often I like to veer off to something unexpected. I love the delivery style of the author, it’s very genuine and makes me wish I were a student in his lectures. Writing and alphabets are things we take for granted, and it’s very interesting to hear the convoluted path it took to get where we are today.

A great read and motivational for anyone
Revisado: 05-26-24
I had seen Jia speak at a conference a few years ago, but for whatever reason I didn’t get his book back then. I’m so glad I did now as it’s more than just a story of his 100 rejection attempts, it’s the backstory and foundation for helping any of us look at rejection differently. Whether you’re in sales or in your personal life, there’s a message here for you.

Interesting but tedious
Revisado: 10-06-23
It’s a very interesting topic, and the information is very comprehensive. But, it gets a little bit technical at a little too deep on some of the information, and I found my attention drifting. I had to force myself to finish the book because I wanted to hear the rest of the information, But it was a little too technical at some parts for me

Revisado: 07-05-23
I almost didn’t get this book because of the length, but I had read another of the authors books, and I had seen him present live so I knew the contact would be good. It was a very enjoyable book, going places I didn’t expect, in terms of influence. I highly recommend this.
