My love for Tennyson died with this book

at first like to say that this book captivated me more than any book I have ever read. it's a long time fan of Arthurian lore I had high expectations for this book. those expectations flew out the window along with my love for Lord Tennyson. the story made me see how truly toxic is work was. the ending of this book was so beautifully crafted and empowering. it has been a long time since I've been surprised by the books ending but this was a beautiful surprise.

I love this series.

I loved how different Phlox was to other pixies and the relationship with Leon was indeed puuuurfect. I had never heard of a Pallas cat but resting Pallas cat face has become a thing in my house. I was also thrilled with the epilogue. From the secondthe author introduced Erasmus, I was smitten. I am impatiently waiting for the next book.

I knew this would be steamy but had no idea the diversity of spice that would erupt. Honestly, I have no idea how Aikos' "pucker" took that must penetration but damn, what a ride.

My favorite of the series...so far

This story had me on edge. Not just the suspense but that sexual tension and finally, the spice, OMG! I also loved how the story tied into addiction and trauma. And once again the epilogue has me invested in the next book.

These two were absolutely adorable and sexy at the same time. The plot was so unique and unpredictable. I also liked the epilogue. I read the description of the next book and thought to skip it but the brief account of Parsnip convinced me otherwise. Coincidentally, that is how I ended up listening to this book. 😍

Perfectly unique

I didn't expect the story to be so sweet but was definitely surprised. The world building was amusing and comical at times. The garden gnome infestation had my imagination running rampant with ridiculous images. The relationship between Phil and Cedric developed beautifully and Phil's insecurities were very relatable to a lot of people. The only thing I wish was different was that we weren't so teased with the epilogue. I was so excited when that spice came and wanted more. Still, I can't wait for the next book

I didn't expect that many hours of spice but was pleasantly surprised. The sexual chemistry between these two characters is fantastic. I loved the plot and the ending too. I'm really hope there's a sequel to this with Jules.
