Historia
Judith Potts is 77 years old and blissfully happy. She lives on her own in a faded mansion just outside Marlow, there’s no man in her life to tell her what to do or how much whisky to drink, and to keep herself busy she sets crosswords for The Times newspaper. One evening, while out swimming in the Thames, Judith witnesses a brutal murder. The local police don’t believe her story, so she decides to investigate for herself and is soon joined in her quest by Suzie, a salt-of-the-earth dog-walker, and Becks, the prim and proper wife of the local vicar.

Bad grammar
Revisado: 09-06-22
Author, Robert Thorogood, uses poor grammar; and, use of English language shows lack of education. Who edits the manuscript?

Historia
On New Year's Day, a dog finds a bone in the Hollywood Hills - and unearths a murder committed more than 20 years earlier. It's a cold case, but for Detective Harry Bosch, it stirs up memories of his childhood as an orphan. He can't let it go. As the investigation takes Bosch deeper into the past, a beautiful rookie cop brings him alive in the present. No official warning can break them apart - or prepare Bosch for the explosions when the case takes a few hard turns.

Distracted by background music.
Revisado: 02-17-21
Don't need distracting dramatic background accompaniment. Let my imagination do the work. Makes it personally mine.

SENTIMENTAL PAP
Revisado: 12-25-16
Narrator sounds bored; and.the story is nauseatingly and ridiculously stupid. Even a child's fairy tale would be easier to believe.

Historia
Mason "Mace" Perry was a firebrand cop on the D.C. police force until she was kidnapped and framed for a crime. She lost everything-her badge, her career, her freedom-and spent two years in prison. Now she's back on the outside and focused on one mission: to be a cop once more. Her only shot to be a true blue again is to solve a major case on her own, and prove she has the right to wear the uniform.

True Blue
Revisado: 11-05-09
The book is not up to par with Baldacci's other fiction. The narrator, Ron McLarty, does a disasterous job, making the characters' dialogue sound ridiculous and trite. He is almost the worst narrator I have had to endure; and I have been listening to books since the early 90's.

Historia
Clay Furlow, NYPD Detective, has a theory about unexplained murders: "Follow the money trail, then read 'em their rights." Hienrich Ressler, a discredited psychiatric researcher, also has a theory: "God didn't make any perfect animals; we all have our own psychosis." The two men match wits in a battle to the death when Clay and his 10-year-old computer genius daughter discover that seemingly random killings are actually the results of an elaborate murder-for-hire scheme.
